Great reaction! 😊 Even though it's passed Christmas I'm glad that you went ahead and watched this sequel. I love both of the first two "Home Alone" movies. But I love this one the most because of Tim Curry and Rob Schneider being in it. And being in a new location Kevin gets more creative with the traps for Harry and Marv. This is essentially the exact same movie as the first, with a skyline. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" and it's totally fine. The pigeon lady basically plays the mysterious scary stranger as old man Marley. The TalkBoy didn't even exist until this, then every kid wanted one for Christmas and it went into production. Tim Curry is such an amazing talent. And Marv's skeleton is comedic perfection. I only wish this was the last we heard of Trump. This is when the series ends for me. Without Macaulay it's just about the money.

Another pair of movies that star Billy Crystal but Daniel Stern plays a friend are the City Slicker movies, both are fantastic comedies. I always thought to myself that Kevin tried to intentionally get lost again after the fit by his dad over the bill.

After years of looking I finally found those exact turtle doves. I have one and my mum has the other ❤ The 2nd film is basically the first plot all over again and yet it never gets old. I've lost count how many times I've seen both 1 and 2.

If you want to see what happened to Kevin McCallister years later, you should react to the KZbin Mini series Dryvrs. Cullkin reprises his role of Kevin McCallister, it's like 20 years later, he's got trauma and problems and it's hilarious. Cullkin is only in episode 1, 4 and 5 I think? But it's a nice little conclusion.

A funny airline story I have is. My family and I were in baggage check and at the time you had to take laptops out separately and scan them separately. Anyways I had bought a dvd in the shop to watch on the ride home and I got the laptop out on the plane and put in the family password and it had told me it was incorrect. I correctly put in the password so I was like what gives. While during the baggage screening the person directly in front of us had the exact same laptop and they had gotten switched around. Some how my brother managed to hack into the computer and found the owner’s information. Super crazy! He lived in Maine while we lived in Colorado. We ended up shipping each others laptops back. Super weird odds

This was pre 9/11 so airport security was way more lax then today, and to be fair they did want him to locate a family member first even if they didn't have him directly identify him, and remember this was 1992 so the room service bill would be far higher today, I think another reactor quoted it at around 2 grand by todays standards

So, adjusting for inflation, the $967.43 bill at the end would be $2,091.30 as of December 2023 - which would definitely be a chunk of change. And I'd be a little incredulous that even Kevin could run up that kind of food bill by himself within just, what, two days? Because that does seem to just be for food and not staying at the hotel. And _yet,_ for staying in New York and in the grand scheme of considering that Kevin's dad has paid for taking not just his own family, but extended family on a group trip that required everyone to fly, _two years in a row,_ and looking at the size of their house....This guy has to be loaded. Yeah, he's probably not going to be thrilled at a $2,000+ bill just for food. _I_ wouldn't, but I'd most be trying to figure out just.... _how??_

I think i prefer this one mainly bc of Tim Curry...aka "the creep.". Here's good at being creepy, considering he played the original Pennywise in IT. And some folks find his part in Rocky Horror Picture Show to be a bit creepy on a totally different sense 🙃. Brilliant actor. Edit: why do you and so many reactors cut out the slap? 😢

Here's the thing about Trump being in this movie he was a fan of the first one and heard the sequel was to be filmed in New York and they needed a place to film at a hotel they had some hotel scenes they needed to film and he volunteered his hotel as tribute the only payment he requested was to have a cameo in the movie and guess what they did as soon as it went to streaming I do believe all the physical home video stuff has it like a VHS and DVD but anything on streaming they cut the scene of him and left all the stuff they got for free for having that scene

1. GOOF: There are far more beads on the ground than what Kevin drops pulls off the neckless. 2. Very first brick Kevin dropped on Marv would have killed him. 3, Given the evaporative nature of kerosene, the volatility would be so low, the rope would barely light, if at all. 2. They went WOKEwood and recent versions eliminated the Donnald Trump scene. 4. My honey Ally Sheedy😍😋 is the NY information lady. 5. "Angles with even filthier souls" is not a real movie. 6. Mr. Duncan/Eddie Bracken also played Roy Wally in "Vacation" 7. This was funny but, Kevin being mean was a little turnoff.
