it’s really a matter of perspective. almost every trans person i know immediately understood the movie.

@@deltaruneunderstander ohh for sure. That’s the audience the movie was mainly for so I can see that. I also didn’t pick up that Owen is possibly Autistic. My husband is a care worker and picked up on his mannerisms right away and asked me about it. When looking further into the movie it seems that a large part of the trans / autistic population were able to connect to the movie in some way. I love that. For those who didn’t catch that it was focused around trans themes. It’s still an artistic expression. We need more movies that reach out to the community like this. :)
