A great cult classic. Fun Fact: Frito's last name, "Pendejo", is a Spanish insult which means pubic hair but conveys the same sentiment as "dumbass". His full name "frito pendejo", means fried pubic hair or "fried dumbass". It might also be a reference to Fritos corn chips "Frito Bandito" advertising character.

Maya Rudolph, from Bridesmaids is an SNL veteran and daughter of Minnie Ripperton (look her up, you know her song/voice). The red headed girl in the senate was probably the most successful actor in this other than Wilson, at the time. She had her own sitcom and was famous for being chunky and then made a drastic change to her body and got thin and hot and I think people liked her less for it. She hasn’t done stuff in years that I’ve seen. The bearded long-haired guy other than you and me, fighting Luke Wilson in the arena, is the third Wilson Brother, Andrew, known for his ridiculous good looks. Dax Shepard played the dumb main friend. He got into acting through Ashton Kutcher and Punk’d. His improv skills in Punk’d was actually acting skill that impressed me at the time. He’s been in a lot of fun movies but finally made one of his own, the reboot of Chips, which isn’t bad despite the mainstream classic rock boring soundtrack. Jeebus to phuckery your outro music is excruciating.

I had a real version of the Brawndo-electrolyte conversation at my work. I was attempting to ask why they were using a particular method and where it came from (who authorized it or what document had the specs), and the response was always a circular "Because thats how we do it(or have always done it)". Oh so you just invented it? well no. Then who told you to do it? and back around and around... (It was a highly regulated and technical sort of industry. I was the connection to the sub-branch that required cheap unskilled labor which had been long neglected by management until they brought in me and a couple others to help straighten out the mess.)

Oh you caught the Crocs. The irony is they purposely used Crocs in the film, because they weren't around, and too ugly to become popular, as told by Mike Judge multiple times: "The wardrobe had to be something that's not around now. It had to be created for a lot of extras, and so you know our wardrobe person was looking for ways to make the budget work. And Crocs were not out in the world yet. They were just a small startup at the time. We shot in 2004, so no one was wearing Crocs. And she showed me these things, and I thought, 'Oh those are great, just stupid plastic shoes.' And I said to her, 'But you actually bought these, you can order these. What if by the time the movie comes out, these things are everywhere, and it doesn't look like we're set in the future?' And she said, 'Oh no, that's never going to happen. And sure enough, by the time it comes out two years later, everyone is wearing Crocs. So it already started coming true even faster than we made the movie, really."
