A small moment from this that I love is that it opens with scenes from old Buster Keaton films being projected onto a building . Keaton was the OG in the film industry in terms of stunt work because he’d often his own stunts on the first try. So the film opening with his work is John Wick’s crew tipping their hat to one of the greatest stunt performers in cinema. Long shot but I do recommend checking out some of Buster Keaton’s work because the stunts do hold up

One of the best things about these movies is the lighting. I really love the different but vibrant colors such as purple orange blue cyan red etc. I don't see it mentioned here and I honestly believe it makes the movies even better.

You actually inspired me to start my own reaction channel, it's not the one I'm using now but listening to some of the things you have said in the past have really motivated and inspired me to just get on with chasing some of my dreams, content creation being one of them. I've been watching you since around when you first started and watching you grow has been very inspiring as it really proved to me that anyone can do it. the coolest part of this movie is the “gear up” scene as you called it, when the man is showing john all the guns, every single model of gun he showed him was correctly named in the script and said in the movie even down to the correct country of origin. like Glock being from austria and bennelli from italy. Movies NEVER get gun names or models right, they often say Glock when the character is holding a fucking beretta or some dumb shit and as a gun enthusiast it just takes you out of the movie cus your supposed to believe Mr. Navy Seal Black Ops badass can’t identify the most common handgun in the world lmao. So that level of detail from the filmmakers is so cool and adds to the realism of this franchise.

John Wick doing a "press check" on the Kimber to make sure the round is chambered correctly is something normal for dealing with Kimber Arms. They are built to such exacting tolerances that sometimes the slide might not seat the round correctly if there's a bit of dirt.

I love the murder combat style though. Like against average security with assault weapons who have had very little experience, He stands in front then no hesitation picking them off like the NPCs they are. But against a fellow assassin merc like Cassian, he has to dial back and be concerned for his own health and can no longer take accurate gunshots while avoiding lethal lines of sight.
