I remember watching this for the first time (like 15 years ago) with my parents and we were collectively howling with laughter during the muscle relaxant scene 😂 this is one of my most favourite comedies ever to this day

I mean I had this on DVD as a kid and it’s rating was “PG” so… technically….. olivxxer is correct. But it’s so much more than a soppy kids film. It’s one of those films that’s suitable for kids but there’s also plenty of hidden adult humour for the parents to enjoy too! I have proof of that because this film got funnier as I got older….

Rowan's comedic timing and physicality is genius, when he walks into Pegasus' office and throws the coat out of the window, the little head movement to the right and the look at the window is hilarious lol

For me the second was the weakest cause Pegasus was suddenly a women and Boff was just gone for no darn reason. His new partner wasn't very good. Third movie was closer to being as good as the first as Boff returned.

Rowan's finest work in my opinion is Blackadder. 4 seasons covering different periods in British history. Brilliant jokes. Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry appear in later seasons.

This movie is an all time favourite. Had it on VHS and replayed so many times 😅 FYI, Lorna Campbell is played by Natalie Imbruglia, you probably better know her as a singer. Biggest hit was ‘Torn’

an under appreciated movie. The perfect blend of the obliviousness of Mr. Bean and the Black Adder attitude. It's a shame so muchof his comedy is sharp and clever, yet he is universally known for one of his minor and sillier roles as Bean. I was on a science page the other day and noted a new paper confirming blind people can have a limited use of echolocation to navigate (with training), First thing I thought of was Rowan Atkinson bumping his head in this film. Very timely!

One thing I love about this movie is that he never shoots anyone. I did watch a few James Bonds and I hate having wasted my time. They seemed fun at the time but the only good thing about them is that I enjoy their parodies and spoofs.

@@targor9649 I thought they were fun back then. Looking back, years later, I realized I didn't enjoy them. And I definitely never felt the urge to rewatch them. The character was so iconic, I felt I *had to* watch a few. I watched a 2 or 3 Sean Connery, 1 or 2 with Roger Moore, at least one with Timothy Dalton and the first one with Pierce Brosnan, and that was when, I stopped trying to make myself like Bond.
