SynopsisJon buys another pet dog named Odie in order to impress the girl he likes from his high school. However, when Odie is abducted, Garfield, along with his other animal friends, sets out to rescue him.

Odie running away is the saddest part of the movie, and Garfield looking for Odie after leaving him outside puts a smile back on our faces. Lasagna is also really delicious

This is a decent movie. As a parent I applaud decent. Especially when talking about a kids film. I appreciated the arc for Garfield learning to not only love Ode but also appreciate his simpleness. It felt like Step Bros but not like that movie because that’s pure adult despite them acting 9yrs old with swearing and semi ball showage 😱😂😂😜👍🏾

In the original comic strip, Garfield is meant to have big feet and hands. Nermal is meant to have medium grey fur and the female cat is meant to have pink or purple fur. Apparently there's a new Garfield animated film in development at Sony but details are thin on the ground right now.

Lorenzo music was the original voice of Garfield, he also was the original voice for Venkman in the Real Ghostbusters animated series, (Venkman being Bill Murray’s character,) so Bill voicing Garfield in these two movies means its come full circle.

This movie was, is, and always will have a special place in my heart. Not only was it my favorite movie as a kid, but the song "I Feel Good" that was pretty much a theme song to this movie, I would always be singing it. On my birthday back in like 2005 or so, I was given a personal letter by Jim Davis, the creator of Garfield, to keep singing the song and to have a happy birthday, and I still have it in a frame to this day. And for all that I will always cherish this movie, aside from it being a hilarious, well made movie that stands the test of time as it is.

Childhood comfort movie for real. I can quote this entire movie start to finish from memory. Fun fact: Odie was actually filmed with two identical twin dogs that they switched out for different scenes. He (and she since one dog was a girl) would've done all their own stunts I assume - other than maybe the flip which would've been partly edited !

This movie is one of of my favs cause it’s funny and reminds me of my cats and dogs. The fact that they nailed down the orange tabby sassy behavior 😂 my cat looks exactly like Garfield & loves the bed but isn’t allowed, he jumps on tummy’s to wake us up, loves food, leans his body on doors to open it, hated my dog (which was also half Doberman like the movie) with a passion, likes watching tv, etc.

Hey seb , here are some auick movie suggestions you could watch - the third ice age movie ( best one of all of them) - Hangover 2&3 - the rest of the jurassic park& world movies - Cars 2&3 - The second grown ups movie - the other how to train your dragon movies - Warrior (2011) - Paul ( comedy) - Instant family ( comedy) These are just some recommendations that i think the most people will watch and like , u prob wont see this anyway but i could always try my luck ;)

I'll never understand two things about this movie (and the sequel): - all the hate - Bill Murray's regret being part of it (just 'cause he misread director's surname) The Croatian overdub is also iconic. 😄 If you like pugs, react to the *original* *Men in Black* trilogy! 😉 I remember *Cats & Dogs* - I had it on VHS. 😁

Just tried looking up if the dog that played Odie is still alive and couldn’t find shit about it except that there were actually 2 dogs that played Odie in the movie Tyler & Cloe but that Tyler the dog was also in the Ace Ventura Jr movie so hopefully those 2 dogs r either still alive or had the best life after the movie
