@@williamjordan5554 For sure, and he could have been mvp just about every year from 87 to 98. If MVP meant best player than Jordan would have it every year. The NBA definitely didn't give him all the mvps he deserved though. Sometimes they get tired of giving the same award to the same player too. Jordan was DEFINITELY the best player in the league in the mid to late 80s. The bulls were not the best team, so he didn't get all the MVPS.

When MJ was doing his thing there was no doubt who was going to win, he an the Bulls were so good everyone knew what was coming way ahead of time. Bulls were going to win again an that was that. I was a huge Sonics fan, watched them beat the Bulls twice in the 95/96 season, once in the regular season an then game 4 of the finals. The Sonics were damn good that year, 64 win regular season I think. But I knew, I had hope but I knew. I think Seattle might have been the only team to beat them more than once that year but I've never checked that. The Bulls went undefeated at home that entire year regular season an playoffs an only lost one playoff game until the finals where they lost two to Seattle. So unless someone beat them twice in the regular season Seattle was the only team. Seattle went 3-5 against them an they finished 87-13 between regular season an playoffs. I think ☺ I could just be totally wrong though. I'm gonna go look an see if anyone else beat them twice that year. I think I was wrong, Chicago did lose a home regular season game an maybe two.

Mike is what you call the perfect basketball player, not to tall not to short, complete control at break neck speed. The dude was faster then anyone with the ball in there hands, players have quick moves and then shoot, Mike was doing moves up and down the court, zig zag, spin, turn still dribbling. Nobody could shut him down, yet he was capable of shooting down most opponents. No weakness at all. Thanks for the memories Mike and the rest of the bulls, every player contributed on that team.

Sorry to say, you forgot to say in the air. He switched the ball while he was still in the air. That move was so epic, even Lakers fans didn't believe what they just saw. That afternoon, no one in the crowd expected to see that kind of thing. Because they didn't pay to see a human being fling with an object and switch hands while he was still in the air. They paid to see a game. After the move, some Lakers fans clapped. It was so well executed, even watching and seeing it, ya still can't believe it.

He was the first player in history to get 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season, it has still only been done by 3 players. (Michael did it twice). He was the steals leader 3 times. He's the only guard in history, relative to his position, both in the Top 5 for blocks and Top 5 for steals. He was the defensive Player of the Year and Scoring Champion in the same year, the only player in history to accomplish this. His 131 blocks for the 1988 season is still the most blocks in a season by a guard in NBA history. Just sayin
