It’s refreshing to see a grown man with a mature mindset analyze this movie and Miranda’s perspective. I see so many grown adult male creators who continue to think Miranda is an unreasonable, horrible bish 😂

I need my youngest child’s father to watch this movie because we’re going to a rough time right now when it comes to our child. We’re not together and have always had different styles of parenting. He’s the fun and carefree one who gets our child whatever they want and I’m the one who does all of the mental, emotional, academic, and disciplinary work.

As a kid I didn’t like the mom either. But as an adult I would be FUUUURIOUS with the dad ! Crazy how your mind changes and grows. It’s kind of cool to actually remember how we felt at that time.

Robin Williams was my favorite celebrity. His movies got me through my traumatic and messed up childhood full of physical and sexual abuse. No celeb death has ever shattered me like his. I cried for a week and didn’t want to talk to anyone. I still sometimes can’t believe he is gone. I keep expecting him to do a new interview or bring out a new movie. He will be forever missed

With a tiny bit of tweaking, this film could have been in the horror genre. Thank you for your open, balanced perspective on the story; I've had to stop watching some reactions because of the vitriol aimed at Miranda. This is a strange story with a strong, mature message. I hope that you'll stay on the Robin Williams train: he chose most of his projects with care and gave us his very best every time.

I felt for the kids the most because I too am a product of divorce. It was very hard on me and my siblings when we were kids. I absolutely love this movie, a huge part of my childhood. This is definitely one of my top 5 Robin Williams movies of all time. #riprobinwilliams

I was on Miranda's side until after the divorce. There was no excuse from keeping their children away from their loving father who could easily take care of them at home for a few hours. And I'm glad Miranda realized that by the end, which is the only reason I don't hate her.

Check Robin out in Dead Poets Society if you’ve not! EXCELLENT film & you’ll meet a different Robin Williams. But he also gives a nod to it in Mrs Doubtfire in the ‘swimming dentures’ scene w his ‘carpe dentum’ comment🤣 Flippin hysterical! And lil doubt more of Williams’ brilliant on set improv for which he was famous.

Honestly this whole movie the one thing that made me mad the most, is the mom's behavior. I can understand if you don't love someone anyone and you want out, then find get out of the marriage, but I mean come on the way she was treating Danial like he was a bad dad or someone who wasn't responsible when he was nothing but a supportive loving father. It's like she felt grumpy because the kids loved him more or whatever her issues was, I can understand if the marriage isn't working anymore and you want out, and the love is gone, but I mean come on, don't hurt the kids and the father's relationship specially when the father isn't a bad person or a dead beat dad like some dad's out there, he was a loving and devoted man to his family and to his kids, I just can't understand her motive other than that fact she was jealous and selfish to where she wanted the kids all to herself or something like that, she almost wanted nothing to do with him and taking his kids away from him, I mean he's offering to take the kids and help out, and yet still be there for them, and she still says no many times. It's obvious who she was truly in love with this whole time and it's her ex-sweetheart from college or school however she knew him, but they dated in the past that's one thing that was true. But honestly, I love Robin's role in this movie, but the movie hits me hard and makes me cry.

The reason people hate station wagons is cause they priorities things incorrectly. Function should be over fashion. When comes to vehicles. They’re meant to get from point a to b and people forget things like buying something that’s big. Like furniture. Or supplies that need room to fit in the vehicle. If a spoiler has more priority then functionality… then your living wrong. Sorry to burst many bubbles. Cars arnt for status. Never should be. That’s where peop,e get this wrong everywhere. Seriously time for many t9 grow up and realize function of your life is better then flaunting it. And earns one more respect then envy. If you live to make others envious … you’re wrong. And need help.
@TheRealMovieManGreg5 ай бұрын
Ummm that not the case…it’s just plain ugly as hell in my opinion ….just because someone doesn’t like the style of the station wagon doesn’t mean their priorities are not straight - there’s mini vans - suvs- hatchbacks- other styles of vehicles that have great functionality … but to generalize and assume that people need to grow up because they don’t like a certain style of cars is a pretty singular way of thinking….people should get what they truly want…. Now I agree that people shouldn’t buy things for others for status… people need to get whatever makes them happy
