He really does have a similar career arc to Kyrie in some ways. Incredible skill, early success at Barcelona - but was second fiddle to Messi (like Kyrie to LeBron) so he went to try to be the main man at a new club. After that, a lot of bad luck with injuries and other circumstances, he still had some success at PSG but he didn’t quite reach his full potential.

I’m a fan of njr watched some games when he was still playing at Santos (always smiling and having fun). Since he came to EU and joined Barcelona, about 3-4 months that smile was gone….. he evolved as a player sure.. his skills, passes, shooting and everything but he lost his charm… in my point of view, it’s not cause there were big names which he had rivalry, even in his own team (cough *Mes* cough *Suar* cough *Mbap*), but they destroyed him because they didn’t let him play the way he enjoyed doing it… just pay attention to his moves, they can’t stop him, so they foul him, sometimes on purpose sometimes not. So he had to adjust to that and learn “how to fall” … i respect him as an athlete and as a person.. for those who don’t know I recommend to watch his documentary.. Neymar IS the perfect CHAOS if you ask me
