I mean it's stuck in RIGHT after Bail telling Leia that she IS his daughter, name or not, and then Bail going to Obi-Wan calling her his daughter and honing in on the importance of family... The fact that people hear "he fought with her father in the War" after _all_ of that and still think "hmm, Anakin?" says more about the attention and anal nature of certain viewers more than the writing. Pretty clear she was talking about Bail.

I seriously recommend checking out the animated shows. They’re chock full of amazing content. Clone Wars and Bad Batch really go into depth on the Clones, and Bad Batch especially is showing how after the war they slowly get phased out in favor of Stormtroopers. Rebels is super underrated in my opinion.

I think Reva was one of the younglings in the opening of the 1st episode. She was most likely one of Obi-Wan's students, and Obi-Wan wasn't there to help her escape. So she feels betrayed by him and the Jedi as a whole. That's why she seems to be so heavily obsessed with going after Kenobi. Even going so far as to ignore the Grand Inquisitors command to stand down. Her emotional charge also gives it away, especially the speech she gave to the locals on Tatooine about how the Jedi wouldn't help any of them. Its a stretch, but that is what I've picked up with Reva so far.

You’re right about leia’s droid being sold as a toy. I got one for my 2 year old nephew. It blinks, beeps, tilts and moves its wings like it’s actually interacting with you. Also when it comes to the clones not being part of the empire, the show called the bad batch goes into it a lot on how the empire replaced the clone troopers with storm troopers because it’s cheaper to recruit people who genuinely believe in their cause as opposed to having to pay to make the army in a lab. The empire also destroyed the city on kamino where the clones were made to make it harder for anyone else to be able to create an army to fight back against the empire. Once the inhibitor chips of the clones served their function and the clones were no longer needed then the empire just tossed them out without caring for them

If you watch Rebels, you'll have a good understanding of who the Inquisitors are. They were former Jedi who have fallen to the darkside after order 66. So they now hunt their own, sadly.

While I understand the vibe behind you saying “who cares about who knows if Vader is Anakin in the Star Wars lore" you gotta understand where some of us are coming from. People in the Star Wars universe not knowing Vader's identity was canonized. There were some who didn't even know he was human at all, adding a layer of terror and mystique to his atrocious actions. To put it simply,it matters because up until now, only people who were close enough to him emotionally knew. The only people who knew were either former allies(Ahsoka, Obi-wan, Yoda), or current allies(Palpitine, possibly Tarkin). It was a cold, hard fact that only those who were the closest to him knew who he was. So for some chick to throw that name around was insane. It's like some random thug yelling “Bruce Wayne is Batman" with no context on how he arrived at that conclusion.

I am completely with you on The Last Jedi. It's all a mess because the whole trilogy is a mess, but as a whole movie at LEAST it has it's own ideas and story. The Force Awakens is a glorified remake (with some solid casting to be fair), and Rise of Skywalker is just a mess of studio interference and fan-baiting gone horribly wrong. The Last Jedi has plenty of bad moments (Leia's spacewalk, Canto Bight), and I know fans are upset at how Luke starts the movie, but ultimately I think Luke DOES re-affirm his legend and as a whole, it's certainly the most bold of the sequels (not saying TOO much). There was a New York Times review of RoS that said "If people wanted to try and rank all the Star Wars movies, the best we could do is a 9 way tie for 4th place" and immediately after dying laughing I kind of got the point they were making: we need to enjoy what we can as best we can or this franchise will give you an aneursym lol.

it is my moment: - The Inquisitors are force-sensitive warriors who are in the service of Darth Vader and are in charge of annihilating the surviving Jedi of Order 66 (some of the Inquisitors were Jedi/Padawans who succumbed to the dark side). the first official appearance of the inquisitors was in the animated series "Star Wars Rebels". that series occurs approximately 5 years after this series and there the Grand Inquisitor and the fifth brother appeared for the first time

I love this series. Poor Obi Wan broken over what happened in the past but Ewan does such a great job especially with his reaction that Anakin was alive. I love Leia's smack down of her cousin. That was awesome. I love the Jawas. They steal parts from their customers to sell back to the customer. My favorite Star Wars movie is Return of the Jedi I love watching the Rebel Alliance finally defeat the Empire, and Luke redeeming Anakin. I also love the scenes at Jabba's Palace. I like parts of A Force Awakens but mostly it had so much potential that ended up not going anywhere in the following movies. I love The Last Jedi there's so many great scenes and moments. Agree about Rise of Skywalker. I also love the Prequels.

To answer 25:35, the Bad Batch and some other canon touch on what happened to the clones after order 66, but the empire began to switch from using clones to just recruitment. While clones are way more capable (at least IMO), they had some valid reasons to switch. It was cheaper, it helped boost morale with citizens knowing the empire consisted of men and women like them instead of clones, and I think the process to make clones was started to get more complex (I forgot if it was because they were running out of the material they took from Jango to make the clones or if it was because the clones were aging much quicker with each batch). It's not "technically" canon anymore, but in the classic Battlefront 2 game's campaign, the biggest reason was the Kaminoans who made the clones were starting to see the writing on the wall and decided to make some clones on the side for a clone rebellion. However, the Empire caught wind of this and sent Vader, his 501st storm trooper legion, and Boba Fett to wipe all of it out. While Kamino is gone, I'd still love to see them rework the clone rebellion into canon somewhere and someway (especially with the bad batch teasing more clones that are defecting from the empire or resisting their inhibitor chips).

A few fun facts, the toy ship Obi Wan leaves for Luke is the Same T-16 Skyhopper toy that we see Luke playing with in "A New Hope" when he is cleaning R2 and 3PO. The girl who gives Obi Wan the spice is Ewan's real life daughter. Also in the book "From a Certain Point of View" we find out that Yoda's wanted to train Leia to take on Vader rather that Luke. I love that Obi Wan was still able to show compassion to the 501st Trooper he saw even after everything that happened. After the rise of the Empire Tarkin led an initiative called Operation War-Mantle that sought to have volunteers to be soldiers rather than clones. Some of the clones did stay on to train the new troopers and be part of the Army, but the thought was that volunteers would be cheaper than purchasing new clones and since they were volunteers they would be more loyal. The species Maul was is Zabrak. The reason this one looks different is because the predominantly come from 2 separate planets. The one in this show is an Iridonian Zabrak and Maul was a Dathomirian Zabrak, also Mauls coloring was different because his whole body was covered with ritualistic Tattoos.

Obi-Wan is much more than simply "rusty." He's been suppressing his Force sensitivity, partly to hide from the hunters, and partly because I think he's suffering so much thinking he killed his best friend, his brother. He's making a journey from badass to hermit to back to badass. Also, the spice-dealing girl on Daiyu is Ewan MacGregor's real-life daughter. And yeah, to see the transition from clone troopers to stormtroopers, I highly recommend watching the animated series, The Bad Batch, even if you don't watch it for the channel.

Bring on that controversy, Mello! While I don't dislike Force Awakens, The Last Jedi is by far my fav of the sequels, and I likewise heavily dislike Rise of Skywalker as a whole. Favorite for me is Empire Strikes Back, followed by Revenge of the Sith and The Last Jedi. Definitely not easy to pick, as you said! As far as the music goes, the theme you hear in the end credits and sprinkled throughout the first episode is actually a brand new theme John Williams specifically wrote for Obi; the first theme in the entire franchise solely for his character I believe. In actuality, he finally did get that star treatment!
