It's even better: Lord Farquaad (pronounced "F---wad") is a blatant charicature of Michael Eisner, who was head of Disney back then and the reason Dreamworks even exists (a lot of people walked away from Disney thanks to Eisner being awful even for a corporate CEO). Fun fact, Robin Williams was supposed to be Shrek at first, but someone he despised whom he worked with in the past was involved with the project and quit without another word on the matter. It was only after that that Chris Farley was cast as Shrek.
@TheMarvelousM2 жыл бұрын
If I'm not mistaken, it was Jeffery Katzenberg, who went against Robin's wishes for promoting Aladdin. Robin refused to play Genie in Return of Jafar due to this, then Jeffery had a major blowout with Disney, took some employees and formed DreamWorks. Robin refused to be Shrek, but interestingly enough went back to Disney to play Genie for Aladdin and the King of Theives.
