Okay just a note about the asthma: the reason why they wont give you a blue inhaler over the counter if you have been hospitalised in the past with an asthma attack is because the blue inhaler is a fast acting reliever. It opens up your airways but over use of it can actually cause an asthma attack and even death. The amount of people who have died from asthma attacks induced by salbutamol inhalers is why healthcare is now trying to move awag from the blue inhaler. If you have asthma please make an appointment with your nurse or GP and get an asthma review. You need a preventer inhaler which is longer lasting and treats the underlying cause of your asthma (basically inflammation in your lungs is what causes the wheeze and breathlessness and to treat that you need a steroid inhaler not a blue inhaler). Essentially ask your nurse for an asthma diagnosis and an asthma review and then get yourself into MART inhaler treatment. Im a pharmacist and do asthma clinics so this is why I would advise this.

Totally agree, I have severe side effects from using the blue inhaler for 25 years and I have been on the new inhalers for a year now and I dont need my blue inhaler at all most of the time. The blue is great for attacks but with the new one a lot of things aren't setting me off as much. I have had every inhaler available and the new red ones are by far the most effective

Also, you want to hold the inhaler a few inches away from your mouth and deeply the mist. Do not put the opening in your mouth. You’re just spraying the medicine onto the back of your throat rather than inhaling it into your lungs. Holding it away from your mouth and deeply inhaling the spray allows the medicine to travel into your lungs and spread over a wider surface area of your alveoli.

They enter the house, go upstairs, find Micah's body in the bedroom, they turn around and Katie is standing in the doorway with a knife in her hand looking at them. They pull the guns on her and tell her to drop the knife, she runs at them and they empty their clips into her killing her. Fun fact, the house used in the movie is the directors own house!

One of the best reasons to make JTA a required watch for movie reactions: Hannah and Ash honestly wear their hearts on their sleeves, without the jaded, desensitized and overly analytical mindset typical of some "film critics." When Hannah wonders if "this is real footage?" at the beginning, you know the next 30 mins promise authentic surprise, genuine concern and heartfelt empathy.

The first time I watched this movie I was all alone. I lived secluded, but my closest neighbour had a farm. I watched the movie with every light turned off and my headset at a really high volume. I had smoked before watching it and got overly invested and afraid. It was almost like being a kid again watching the Blair Witch Project for the first time and believing everything was real. I went for a second smoke to try to calm my nerves down after the movie was finished. My eye catches something in field roaming. Something white and ghost like drifting across the field moving in an usual way. It suddenly stopped in the middle of the field, and now I swear it was looking right back at me. Then I hear a ghostly voice calling out to me. It sounded like it was in pain, and it sounded like it was calling me in. Calling me towards it, but I could feel it was faking it`s pain and it was calling me in like a siren or a mermaid trying to get me to come and investigate it before dragging me deep under water and drowning me or something. "MoooOOOOOOoooh OOoooooOOOh". I was petrified. I could not move. "MOOOOOOOOOOO!" It called out again. I rubbed my eyes and there it was!!!! Standing eating grass in the middle of field. One day a few weeks after the movie had been out the actress that played Katie went into a coffee shop and EVERYONE panicked and started trampling each other to get away from her. The movie had originally cost $15,000 to make and was then sold the domestic rights to Paramount Pictures for $350,000 (including the worldwide rights to any sequels). The actress that played Katie had been paid $500. 🫨It then went on to become the most profitable horror film in history. The film grossed $22.1 million in home DVD sales and grossed $107.9 million in theatrical domestic releases and $85.4 million in foreign markets, with a total gross of $194.2 million.

I am so happy this franchise is finally getting the recognition it deserves. People used to hate on these movies because it was trendy, but ever since i saw it 18 years ago, it's been my most favorite horror franchise. None of the movies i can watch alone in full darkness, but The Marked Ones or Paranormal Activity 5 is what almost gave me a heartattack and literally made me jump off the couch backwards with one particular scene i am actually too scared to watch again. My pulse was probably 200+ for about 5 minutes after that. No other movie has ever done that to me. And this is considering i grew up as a kid, watching The Thing, The Fly, The Exorcist, Alien... Paranormal stuff just gets me straight away, especially when it's done right.

I saw this for the first time a few years after it came out. For me the part that gives me chills is her scream for Mikah at the end, then the footsteps up the stairs. You see nothing of the events so it's all what your brain comes up with.

I’ve never even seen this movie, but I truly enjoyed your reaction 😊 “The Fourth Kind” with Mila Jovovich is probably the creepiest movie I’ve ever watched. I couldn’t sleep well for weeks afterwards. I’d love to watch your reactions to that 🤓💜

Great call by Hannah. She knew that Katie would get possessed and then delete her boyfriend. Great reaction! 👍🏿

I believe that when Ash first met Hannah he said the same thing to her that Wade Wilson (Deadpool) said to Vanessa, "Your crazy matches my crazy." and they've been together ever since. 😂They are genuinly fun and fun to watch.

Steven Spielberg was a consultant for the movie as welyas giving the director advice on how to set up the perfect jump scare and keep the audience on the edge of their seat.

Spielberg actually suggested the ending that they used.
@johnsilva91393 ай бұрын
I think if Spielberg was a consultant he would have been paid a lot more than $15,000. Maybe he was an investor and made tons of money from this. He did come up with the ending, so that's worth a hunk of money right there.
@ZrankFappaH2 ай бұрын
@@johnsilva9139Sometimes I think people forget that directors and actors do often take on projects for next to no money because they’re really passionate about something happening and want to be a part of it. For instance many actors have taken a big pay cut to get a role with their favourite directors and stuff. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Spielberg saw early test footage, loved it and wanted to be part of the project.
