It's such a perfect moment because Hannah is so good at picking clues and figuring out movies, and she comes very close to doing it at that moment, but since the concept of a grown-up woman with the body of a child is unheard of and so wild she's unsure of what to make of that eureka moment.

I know a lot of people who were disappointed there was no supernatural twist, but I agree with you guys, this one was even scarier, as it could happen more or less. Great reaction! Isabelle Fuhrman was incredible. Actress tends to play a stinker very well. Isabelle was Clove in the The Hunger Games, and played a girl named Grasshopper in Hounddog who was also a pill at best. Someone with this wouldnt be short and stout, it would basically look like the build of a child or preteen. No one ive watched this with has ever guessed the plot twist correctly and THAT is why its one of the greatest horror thrillers ive ever seen. it is still disturbing to watch even to this day because its too realistic 😲

I love when people get mad about things that are shown for us, the audience, but clearly not for those involved in the film. Love the reaction and just goes to show how well this movie is made. Flawed people written in a fairly believable way. Why wouldn't the husband question what appears to be extreme stances on a child? He has a wandering eyes, which, I think is a great way to make a character flawed, while we don't see him acting on it. I think this movie is awesome and if a character makes you have a strong reaction, good or bad, I typically find them to be more compelling.

Yeah, the original script had a lot of Esther's background and it was planned to be a lot more darker. I think the directors choose to not show all of that because 1 It would be a lot for the the actress playing Esther which was super young and 2 they thought it would be a lot for the audience as well. Obviously they wanted to sell it so it would have to be for theaters and not a lot of súper traumatic shit 😂 It would be interesting to see though, and that's why the prequel was very disappointing to me

I still cannot get over Ash saying Esther dresses like Che Guevara combined with William Shakespeare and Annabelle from Conjuring. True poetry.

Yes, Esther’s actress was a child playing a grown woman pretending to be a child. And in the 2nd movie, which is a prequel for obvious reasons, Isabelle Fuhrman reprised her role as Esther so she was a 20-something playing a 30-something pretending to be a tween. It’s kinda difficult to take it seriously sometimes, because you can clearly see that in some scenes they have to use forced perspective, where everybody else is wearing platform shoes, or Fuhrmann is kneeling or sometimes you can tell they hired a child body double and superimposed Fuhrman’s head on her.

When this movie first came out, I've lost count of how many times I went to the cinema to rewatch it, I just keep on dragging friends and family to go see it, because it was and it still is one of the best horror/thriller to date, but it's sad that it was underperformed back then, Isabelle Fuhrman was only 10 years old when she film this movie, she really deserve an Oscar nomination in my opinion. And Vera Farmiga the mom gave one of the most believable on screen performances I've ever seen, the scene where Esther "presenting" her the flowers, the way she's breathing heavily and almost feel like she's suffocating, the acting is excellent, that's how impactful that moment to her. I'm glad that you guys enjoyed it, the way you guys reacting was exactly how I feel the first time watching this movie. Just a great movie as a whole, not only horror.

Greatest plot twist of all time. I remember getting recommended it after watching M3gan and at first i didn't want to because of the poster but now I'm happy I watched it. And i recommend you guys watch the second movie of orphan, it also had a crazy twist that i wasn't expecting. Best reaction hands down 👍

"She's a time travelling robot!" Hee hee. I love how into this movie the hosts are. It's great (I haven't finished watching the video yet) they have had some wacked out theories but haven't hit on the correct one far into the picture. To be fair if you don't have medical knowledge the chances you'd guess the truth are almost zero and even with medical knowledge the movie does a nice job of not making it obvious so it is a really good movie.

This actually happened here in America. A couple adopted who they thought was a little girl and she was in fact an adult. They were very afraid of her and fled.

actually that happened AFTER this movie came out and the couple made it all up 😬 the adopted girl was disabled and has been proven to be the age she said she was. the parents abused her and left her all alone in a very non-disabled friendly apartment while they moved to canada so their prodigy son could go to a prestigious school there.

No it didn’t. That’s just the story the family made up, there is a documentary about it called the curious Case of Natalia Grace. The parents are absolutely insane! I highly recommend anyone who doesn’t know the entire story go watch it

This was inspired by barbora skrlova who posed as a 12 year old girl then went on to pose as a 13 year old boy. That case is much worse than this film.

I watched with my friends. One of my friend screamed in the middle of the movie and said "What's wrong with you, you ungrateful little child". It was so funny. Haha. And speaking of Annabelle. Are we ever going to get an Annabelle reaction 😁😁😁. I think Ash might have seen it but perhaps Hanna hasn't yet.

great reactions to a great movie, the fact that Isabelle Furhman was 11 - 12 when she filmed this movie, she does a great job, Max was so adorable, Daniel not so keen on but he was acting like a typical kid i feel, Kate was lovely, not that keen on John given how easily he believed Esther's lies
