​@@jski1012It's not ancient Egypt it's the Persian Empire. Read a history book, dude. But yeah, some heavy white washing in this. Still an awesome movie and Jake Gyllenhaal looks a lot like the Dastan from the games, so it's kinda excusable, I guess?

26:46 The concept of Assassin's Creed comes from Price of Persia. As Prince of Persia was not fully owned by Ubisoft company they had to make their own game franchise similar like this which is now known by the name of Assassin's Creed. There was a game in development named Prince of Persia Assassin before first Assassin's Creed game came out.

I love Prince of Persia games and I must say that this film is a great adaptation of the game even though there are some differences in the actual story. This film is a masterpiece and perfect way to introduce Prince of Persia to the film industry.

Assassin's Creed (2007) was originally supposed to be a sequel to Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. And, yes, there *is* an Assassin's Creed movie (2016). There's also an Assassin's Creed prequel short film (AC: Lineage) which is better, with Ezio's *father* as the main character.

This film owes so much to the 1940 film = THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD about a boy thief who over throws an evil force, with the help of a royal family member.

On the 'rarely seen but are great for reactions' front, i hope your list makers remember: Holes (2003), Flatliners (1990, ignore the remake), Ladyhawke (1983), and Bad Influence (1990).

Persia is modern day Iran. It is so tiny now hehe. Oh yeah persia was big actually once by cyrus the great and later by ssassanid empire. This was if they are muslim so it should be during the khworazmian persian Empire....

This movie killed the prince of persia games, the story makes more sense on the games then the movie which did everything backwards.
