Disney sequels are most often horrible. Dreamworks does a sequel to an 11 year old spinoff of a sequel and gives us this. I think one of the best parts is it isn't afraid to have some adult themes and lessons. That scene with Puss having a panic attack? How the heck does an animated film have the most accurate portrayal of what it's like that I've ever seen in any movie.

So, two details that I love about this movie. If you look at the corner embellishments for the "death cards" at the beginning, when they are counting through Puss' deaths... it is the wolf. He was there for every one of Puss' deaths, after all. Second, Goldilocks starts out wearing a blue dress, but by the end, her dress actually becomes , to match the bears' fur.

That and you can literally see death when puss is running across the buildings in the beginning hes at the back of the crowd watching

Puss in Boots is just gorgeous animation. And good animation usually manages to have more vibrant backgrounds and more expressive faces. Not to mention all the effects you can add in that dont feel out of place.

This movie has three antagonists, which are three different types of antagonists: Goldilocks: sympatetic and anti-villain, she has a selfish desire but she is not a bad person The Wolf/The Death: Nemesis, not a true villain because he/It is a Superior Strenght, and he wanted give a lession to Puss Jack Horner: True villain, as he said, he was death inside, pure selfish and ruthless, without redemption chances.

Well, first there was "Puss in Boots" (2011) with Humpty Dumpty, and then there's this film: "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish." If you haven't seen the first film, you should. It's really good and gives backstory of Puss and Kitty Softpaws.

@@AdriannaReacts I agree 100%… I only mentioned the first movie because (and I’m including the fact that we watched the 2nd one in this amazing video) it introduced us to Kitty, and The Oh Cat (😅I know it sounds like that’s just some made you name that I’m coming up with since there isn’t really any other way of calling/naming it, but on IMDb, the person who voiced him, the character’s name is literally “The Oh Cat “😅) other than those 2 things, that’s why I talked about seeing the first one, but it’s not a super duper important movie to see, just for some more background info…😊but that’s it😊😊😊
