I don't think I've seen anyone so fun to watch react to horror. It reminds me of when I would trick my mom into watching scary movies as a kid, except in this case, she actually seems to love it. I'm convinced the reason she's so great is because she does NOT in fact hate horror and rather, we get to watch a new horror fan being born. It's all in the giant, gleeful smile after the "No please!" 😂💘

@@TheAbominableDrFaustus Is part of the fun if the person stops watching the movie. Like say 20 minutes in then stops recording and never posting that video. Because that's also a possibility along with the person going. I'm done making horror movie reation videos for a while after this movie. Then they don't post any videos for say a entire month. Because that's also a posable out come so that's something to think about. When recommending movies some many go I'm done for awhile with horror movies or making reation videos for a while. For a 20 or less minute video if they even post it. Because one KZbinr was one able to was 30 minutes of this movie. Then cut that down for editing it was ten minutes an same thing for Terrifier 2. So the only reason they posted it was because it was 30 minutes long. It had 10 minutes of Terrifier 2016 and 10 minutes of Terrifier 2 an ten minutes of them taking. An this was some one that went I love hardcore horror movies at the start of the video.

@@TheAbominableDrFaustus Yes it would be just hilarious if the person who is not ready for this kind of horror movie. With brutal kills and blood an gore goes because of this I'm no longer taking any movie recommendations. Because I watch 20 minutes of the movie then I had to turn it off so from now on I will only watch the movies I want to watch. Like Disney movies that kind of reation would be priceless wouldn't it. Because the people that make the movie reaction videos an post them can do that an you can't stop them. That's what you don't push people into movies that are that far from their comfort zone. She still jumps at basic horror movies with basic tame kills. Sometimes when people like that go from jumping at basically horror movie kills. To jumping into movies like this it turns them off watching horror movies completely.

Yeah, Kat's reaction at 22:40 only confirims why I sarcastically call it a real date movie. Can't see any guy ever getting past first base if he took his girl to see this in the theatre before they became an item. Yes, I agree the actress was very brave -- like the slug cow in Slither and the belle of the ball in Galaxy Of Terror or either actress who appeared in I Spit On Your Grave. Still, I don't think any man ever helped conceive a child as a product of watching any of those flicks with a formerly amorous woman... I mean, when I saw Boxing Helena with my ex-gf, pregnancy really wasn't a concern because she had her tubes tied, but I couldn't help but think that people who both make these movies and love watching these movies are either sexually awkward or have a secret hatred of women because of their involuntary celibacy. Just saying, cuz I was quite verile then and my gf was always a nympho and yet, I sure as hell didn't even get to second base that night. Granted, she knew I wasn't mentally sick in the head because I had no idea what the flick was even about, but that level of sympathy doesn't even warrant heavy petting in her eyes. I actually save movies like this for my friends' bachelor parties so the groomsmen who don't have a dating life can watch it with other woman-hating dudes and have a bonding moment instead of getting all jealous or trisexual. Not saying there is a correlation or whatever, nor am I saying that anyone raving about this movie in the comment section is mentally ill or sick or anything like that, because I also run from chick-flicks like Fried Green Tomatoes because that's like castration by proxy. Plus, I ain't judging because I've seen all these sick horror movies myself at one time or another. But I STF wouldn't bring a nice girl to see it, not if I wanted to avoid getting friendzoned, anyway. That's why I believe Kat truly excels where other reaction channels fail. She stands out, and even though she isn't "my type" I can't help but want to snuggle on the couch with her. If Kat was a horror movie fan, this channel would read like every other reaction channel on KZbin. But because she only reviews horror and absolutely hates horror, people both male and female alike who LOVE horror, all get a perverse pleasure watching her sit through these classics without covering her eyes. It's certainly remarkable and very marketable, and the voyeur in me is quite infatuated with Kat because of both her innocence and her willingness for her pure heart to be tainted by a jaded display of arabesque filth and grotesque gore. Best to you-

Yeah, the reason the Terrifier movies are hard to watch isn't because they're gory (though the gore effects are very well-done), but because they're just *mean*. Even horror movies with better gore effects or more sinister villains have some sort of transgression, like drunk teenagers reading from a forbidden book or the victims' parents burning a murderer alive. Terrifier starts off leading you to believe that's the case (with the friend grabbing his face for a selfie or the pizza shop manager yelling at him to get out), but it turns out that, no, it doesn't matter. If anything he seems to want to make nice people suffer more.

Oh my sweet Kat! My heart goes out to you, so thank you for being so strong and a good sport. I didn’t think you were ready for Terrifier either, but this is why we finish the job! Art the Clown has quickly become a horror icon with the likes of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Chucky, Pinhead, Pennywise, and others. I really love the concept of a killer mime/clown played brilliantly by David Howard Thornton. He does it through his mannerisms, facial expressions, and body language, all without saying a word or making a noise. He really brought to life a truly memorable and terrifying horror villain. This is one of the most brutal horror films I’ve seen in a long time, which make me admire you even more. Even the Hacksaw Scene made me squirm. I’m sure it’s been mentioned but there is a sequel that take everything up to the next level, especially in terms of carnage. Still I’d actually recommend Terrifier 2 because I really love David Howard Thornton’s performance of Art the Clown, and you’ll love Lauren LaVera who played an amazing final girl. Take care Kat! The only value they have to me is the showcasing of some pretty impressive practical effects. To each their own though.

This makes me so happy. I absolutely love Terrifier and Terrifier 2. I just met David Howard Thornton and Damien Leone. They were the nicest guys ever. I even got to take a pic with him in his Art Makeup.

So glad you enjoyed this Art is my favourite horror character of recent times, but now it’s time for you to enjoy the second film 🤡😁

I’m a huge horror fan, but when I saw TERRIFIER I was actually disgusted. There was a level of twisted cruelty in this movie that I just found unsettling. The minute the hacksaw scene came about I was like, “Do they really have to linger on it so much!?” The sequel also has a particularly brutal sequence in a bedroom, even though it’s a bit more cartoonish, it’s still twisted. I think this is a one watch series, I appreciate the performance the actor gives for Art the clown and the make up fx are extremely effective. But these movies are not for the faint hearted.

You deserve a medal for putting yourself through such torture. Movies like this are definitely not for the faint of heart. I didn’t really find this movie that scary but it definitely does have a creepy atmosphere and if you’re a gore hound, then this movie is for you.

I hope you watch the second one! This one was more of a showcase movie for Art the clown and what he's about. Which, as you've now seen is brutal and unyielding violence and murder. Terrifier 2 is far more story oriented. Make no mistake though, the movie is even gorrier and more intense than the first, but a far superior movie also. Better acting, visuals, character and beleive or not, even better gore affects! You handeled this one like a champ, you'll do awesome with Terrifier 2!

This is a hell of a choice Katt, not to many people has the guts to pick a movie like this to react to, this is a whole new level of horror right here. Well done.

I was one of the many that suggested this one! I’m so so sorry to have put you through this, but also thank you so much for reacting to it! I needed to know I wasn’t alone in being so unsettled by this one. The sequel is actually worse in my opinion. I’m a horror lover but even these movies are a NO for me lol. Keep up the great work, Kat! 💖💖💖

Hi Kat, I have a couple of suggestions that are a little older. First 'The Legend of Hell House' good paranormal movie. The original 'The Haunting" this one sets the mood better than the remake. And if you think that they didn't make environmental horror movies check out 'FROGS' from the seventies.
@bradbunch637 Жыл бұрын
Those are fantastic suggestions. Hell House is my go-to movie when I'm in the mood for some spooky.

"Oh, I've heard this is a lovely little horror movie with some good scares and gore." 22:26 Kat learned that there are different levels of horror and gore, and that she had ventured much further than her casual enjoyment of Jaws.
