FAQ: (Questions that are asked to me OFTEN, will answer here)
Q: Why is the video in TWO Parts?
A: Copyright reasons. I can show more of the movie to you guys within multiple parts. Depending on the movie I might do THREE parts or sometimes just ONE.
Q: Why is a small portion of the video completely muted?
A: Copyright reasons. Sometimes I get hit with copyright claims AFTER the video has already been posted, my only choice is to refute the claim but if KZbin denies it, I have to either take down the video or mute the small portion they are claiming. If the video has been up for a while, it is much easier for me to mute this small portion in the YT studio and then unmute it months later after people aren't watching the video as much.
Q: Why is the movie not as loud as I want it to be, why can't you show more of it uncut?
A: Copyright reasons. Notice a pattern here? Most of your questions will likely be answered with some type of copyright related reason.
Q: Why is the movie footage flipped?
A: Again, copyright reasons. I am watching the movie the normal way, it is only flipped for the video.

"Multi-Pass!" She is adorable. 😍 There has been a critical reassessment of this film, in favor of the movie. Most of the time, the critics don't know their (redacted) from a hole in the ground. Fun Fact: The Divine Language spoken by Leeloo, was invented by co-writer and director Luc Besson, and further refined by Milla Jovovich, who had little trouble learning and developing it, as she was already fluent in four languages. The language had only four hundred words. He and Milla Jovovich held conversations, and wrote letters to each other in the language as practice. By the end of filming, they were able to have full conversations in this language.

This is highly rewatchable. I remember not liking Chris Tucker’s character that much the first time I saw it, but after a couple more viewings, I started to realize how brilliant he is. There are so many lines & scenes that don’t really get noticed on the first watch. There’s just so much going on, it’s almost impossible to digest it all.

Milla Jovovich is a former model. The foreign language she was speaking was actually made up for her to memorize and actually perform as if it was a real language. She did a great job! You would probably recognize her from the resident evil franchise. The costume Costume design should have been nominated for an Oscar, Jean Paul Gautier. Chris Tucker was perfect for that role and he should have been nominated for best supporting actor. The song written for the diva was meant to be in such a range that no human would be able to sing it. The singer they Got actually could sing that high and only needed digital help for 4 to 6 bars of music. She was amazing!u

This instantly became 1 of my all-time favorite movies when it was released. I can never get sick of it. Fun fact: The Diva (Plava Laguna) was played by the Director's Girlfriend (a french model). She agreed to do the part after the Original Model (Claudia Schiffer, A huge 90s Supermodel from Germany) quit at the time of production. The faces of the audience including Bruce Willis were all Genuine because No cast members had seen the Character/Diva in full makeup and Wardrobe or heard the song.

The Diva, Maiwenn Le Besco, wasn't Luc Besson's girlfriend, but his wife. She wasn't a model but an actress. They met when she was 12, started dating when she was 15 and married a year later. He left her early in this movie for Milla Jovovich, whom he married the following year.

"Why is the future in these goofy-ass outfits? They're cool... but they're goofy... they're goofy/cool..." That's legendary comic artist Moebius teamed up with haute coutere legend and notorious weirdo Jean-Paul Gaultier. Luc Besson had this idea to push the aesthetics of the "Metal Hurlant" European sci-fi comics he grew up on, (released here in "Heavy Metal" magazine) which had some crazy costuming and lots of hot women; so he cast models instead of actors for a lot of the bit parts, hired Moebius who was one of the biggest names in the Metal Hurlant movement; and Gaultier, a fashion designer known to push boundaries to cartoonish extremes. A number of big name fashion models and designers have cameos. Moebius also did designs for "Alien" "Tron" and "Willow." His comic "The Long Tomorrow" he made with "Alien" writer Dan O'Bannon served as the visual inspiration for 2019 Los Angeles in "Blade Runner" and was the source material for the "Harry Canyon" segment of the "Heavy Metal" movie.

breaking the trope of the protagonist vs the antagonist face to face was one of the things that made this movie stand out. for we all expected as a matter of corse that Bruce would face off with Garry at some point. but that twist actually worked for the story arc that they just miss each other in the elevators. the great part is that Bruce wills played it as John McClain. where all the other characters where played as charctures of their characters. that juxaposition of it, is what makes it an top movie.

The film is directed by a French guy that wrote the movie when he was a young adult and Bruce Willis took a pay cut so they could afford him and after Bruce red the script he really liked it and decided to do the film. This film actually made Chris Tucker a star and many love his role and Chris said still by far best role he played. The diva performed her dance and sang the entire opera infront of a green screen and sections were edited in later. The diva actress was originally upset the director cut most of her performances but later after seeing how many people loved the diva scene she felt better about it.

One of my favorite sci-fi movies from one of my favorite directors, Luc Besson. Also another great soundtrack by Eric Serra, who is also one of my all-time favorite and inspirational composers to me also. Loved his work ever since he did the soundtrack for the GoldenEye 007 movie, and then just listening to more of his collaborations with Luc on the handful of other films they've done over the years, including Leon the Professional and Nikita. The soundtrack here was no exception, though. The video game for the PS1 however, was complete garbage. Which is a shame because, in europe there was a racing game for the PS2 and PC called "New York Race", and that was much better than what we got in the US couple of years before that, and when the film was out in theaters during that time. XD

The thing about not hearing about movies is not that strange if you think about it, there is no marketing for older movies, and if a movie was fairly popular, but not a HUGE deal, or groundbreaking in some way, it's just not going to get talked about after it's come out. I mean, would you be able to name the Oscar winners from any random year? And those movies aren't even necessarily the very best, but even so, they're just not remembered.
