I bet it would be way crazier if you follow the trend of the film.
@terribletimes902 Жыл бұрын
@@daisuke910 It wouldn’t. Gareth Evans (director) revealed the original plan for Raid 3 and said it would not follow Rama at all. He couldn’t justify Rama risking his life and his family again and felt that if he did, he would actually deserve to die this time. He said it would instead follow the Japanese crew as they are hunted down by someone who betrayed them and chased into the forest. They would be unfamiliar with the terrain and be like prey escaping a hunter. It was going to be a much shorter movie too, around 90 minutes. He fully acknowledged that if this movie ever came out, it would no doubt piss off the fans of the first two movies 😂

I thought the The Raid 2 was the single greatest action film when I first saw it in the theater. 8 years later and I still feel that it deserves it's title. And you're right about how surprising it is that Gareth Evans still hasn't yet been given an even bigger opportunity to direct a big budget Hollywood movie when his craft has proven to be so much better than other "more reputable" directors.
@Aviator99992 жыл бұрын
It still depends on the actor not only director, if the actor or stunt double doesnt have experience in martial arts that brutal. It cant be happening.

its hard to imagine western actors/ actresses pulling off chareography this good. Likely they would have to import choroegraphers from the East too inorder to create anything close to this level. I mean think about it, whats the best martial arts movie from hollywood? Undisputed comes to mind and even that move is nothing compared to Raid. I think asians just do this better, its hard to emulate when you dont have the build or the martial arts background.

Sadly, Gareth said there won't be Raid 3. There was, but he kind of putting it back in his mind because he had other project and kind of lost motivation for it. He also said, IF there is Raid 3, he won't make Rama as the main character and it will tell the story about someone else, and he will put in some unknown martial art school who teaches in the deep jungle against the Yakuza. You can expect some guerilla fight or something. You can find it on YT just type Gareth Evan interviews with the longest duration one.

@aandwicahyono75523 жыл бұрын
@@SocialBobcat I saw this kind of comments a lot in other videos too, idk why people always trying to compare The Raid series with TNCFU, they're literally so much different, I mean I get it that most of the actors and fight choreographers are the same from The Raid but TNCFU didn't try to be like those films, the director had different approach, concept and idea, they tried to do different things, I mean almost all of Timo's films are violent and gory as hell and that's just like his style, TNCFU imo achieved what it wanted to be, what the filmmakers wanted it to be like, it is great in it's on way, a slasher flick that's fusing with martial arts action, but some people discredited it, some even saying it trash just (maybe) because they expected it to be like Raid films when in reality the film didn't even trying go to that direction
