Demi Moore herself characterised the film as “Death becomes her” meets “The Picture of Dorian Gray” meets aerobics of the 80s with Jane Fonda. But it sure has many more references and allusions like a kaleidoscope.

I kind of see a bit of her reflecting on her 90s career, plus the direction giving of a David Cronenberg vibe. Also, add in a theme about the abuse of performance/psychoactive drugs, the story having a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde tone, and the final half hour feeling like Akira and Perfect Blue mixed together.

Actually Demi Moore starred in quite a few movies in the 2000s and the 2010s. I personally loved her in Charlie’s Angels: Full throttle (2003), Half Light (2006) and Mister Brooks (2007) but it’s safe to say that her finest hour was in the 1990s. And she’s still a living legend no matter what. You’re absolutely right, she’s experiencing a resurgence right now which makes me really happy for her.

In the spirit of Demi Moore, a fellow native of The Land of Enchantment, I highly recommend Disney’s “the hunchback of notre dame” from 1996. Demi Moore is the voice of the female protagonist, Esmeralda. It’s probably one of my favorite, if not the favorite Disney. And that’s hard because I LOVED THE LITTLE MERMAID. I hated the live action one. Don’t even get me started. Who cares if you’ve seen it before, just title the video as a rewatch. I promise people won’t care because you’re handsome and most importantly, you’re funny. That’s a key ingredient needed for any channel to grow. In return, I’d like for you to recommend your favorite Australian film? The favorite of mine that comes to mind is Black Water. Rhada Mitchell stars in it and it’s about a group of unfortunate tourists who enter into the feeding grounds of a SALT WATER CROCODILE…. Those things terrify me 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Also, Rhada Mitchell (sp) is also in Silent Hill from 2006. Another favorite of mine. She’s also in the film, “Man on Fire” starring Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning. Cheers Mate! ❤😂

When you commented that the string seems big, a lot of times for films they will use bigger medical supplies intentionally for a more dramatic effect. Bigger needles are of course the usual thing people notice. The best example I can give is when you see acupuncture done in films the needles are huge compared to the ones that actually get used. The ones we really use for acupuncture are so dang small that we have to count how many were used before and how many we take out/ collect to make sure we get them all. They are so darn tiny, that they take forever to find if they accidentally fall on the floor XD Acupuncture was definitely one of my favorite things to help with because you got a moment to 'sit and relax.' We got to sit with the patient and just make sure they stayed still so they didn't accidentally shake the needles out. Then make sure they all got thrown out at the end.
