I am so excited for you guys starting the BTS journey. You are going to be blown away by these guys. BTS is made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. First, don't try to remember these guys by hair colors, they change them ALL the time. They debuted in 2013 and they literally changed the game in KPop. Just know that Real BTS ARMY (because there are fake ones out there that like to be rude so the Fandom looks bad) will guide you with gentle hands and loving hearts. We understand tastes in music are different and you may not like some of what they do, but as long as you are honest and throw no personal shade at the members, ARMY will Not attack you. Ignore the haters and enjoy the ride.

I can’t stress this enough to please keep listening to their music UNTIL you feel it’s right that you’re interested in the members themselves and their personalities. I understand ARMYs (the fans) are enthusiastic about new people potentially joining the fandom, but in my opinion it’s better to get a feel for their music first and foremost. Great reaction :) DNA was my intro song to BTS so it’s special to me. Also Kpop does not necessarily mean pop music, pretty much every genre is encompassed in Kpop. It’s just Korean popular music, BTS has many many different genres with their roots being in hip hop

Calling it now, y'all are gonna love this group. Songs to start off with: - ON (Kinetic manifesto film) - Black Swan - Blood Sweat and Tears - Fake Love - Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix) I genuinely think you guys would ADORE this group. BTS have definitely carved out a part of the world for themselves, they are all genuinely so talented its mind blowing. In all honestly there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have. The NPR Tiny Desk is a good video just to see their vocals and the group dynamic (they have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists), or their 2021 live room Festa, which was kind of a medley of their songs from their first album to their latest. Just snippets but it was cool

Personally, this song is not necessarily among my top songs especially to introduce people to BTS, however, it grew on me a bit especially that dance break and the video of course, that much detail really holds you. What I love about BTS is that they are so versatile so I guarantee even if you don't like a song or if a genre is just not for you there's another they have that you'll love, They have over 300 songs now that range from: Pop to R&B, EDM, Rock, Neo-soul, Latin pop, Hip-hop(which is what they started out in), and more. BTS is seriously one of the GOAT in music period. Forget "Kpop" genre. They do EVERYTHING. A lot of music is in Korean & English mixed and they have 3 songs all English, which I am sure you know but didn't realize it was them. Watch Mic Drop(Steve Aoki remix), On(Kinetic Manifesto version)Fire, Dope, Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance and more lol. You will fall down the rabbit hole! A lot of huge celebrities love them!
