Thank you very much! I actually have a Little Buddy heater but decided to use the electric heater instead. The 1lbs propane tank only lasts about 5hrs in my heater.

In North Carolina summers ice in red wine is great ))) On a serious note - here is my winter camping mobile setup: Kodiak canvas tent 14x10 + buddy heater + 20 pounds propane tank. With this gear you are not limited to your backyard and propane heater just keeps working through the night without needing you to manage a wood stove which can be a major pain.

You made Jo-Anna happy with your ice comment! Your setup sounds pretty good. I have a little buddy heater witht he 1lb tank. Lasts about 5 hours. Loading the fire every hour or two would definitely be a pain. Are you ever worried about carbon monoxide from the heater?

@@kevgoes - I have a digital CO detector on a floor (20$ on Amazon), it has been always showing zero CO. On the package itself it said to be safe indoors. I also leave some small opening in a tent for ventilation. I get the appeal of wood burning stove but it is such a pain to operate + heat is so uneven, need to serve it few times a night. 5 gallon propane tank just does the job - set it and forget it )

hi Kev, no matter the thickness, the mat you used is good for summers. you need to buy insulated mats which will radiate back your body heat. liked your video, especially the vegan hot dogs. ciao from Venice, Italy.
