Awesome match ya love to see it. I First got into Aoe2 as a kid and picked up AOM as my first rts as a adult, it’s amazing and I think it’s working to bring in a lot of new people myself included. Your videos have helped a lot in getting better at the game, I beat my first titan Ai today. Improving everyday, would love to see some more guide focused content, I think it’s what a lot of people want right now.

I don't know if they're actually competitive, but Ra + Sobek + Osiris Camels are my favorite units in the game right now, hilarious combination of fast and chunky. I wish I knew how to make the most of Ra's abilities. I just tend to end up having the one pharoah in the base with everything clustered around it, empowering a monument, then priests going out to boost the gold mines.

favorite eqyptian is set. Priests goes out to convert animals for safe hun near TC, and i always age up ptah, nephtys, horus. Massive bonusses for baracks units which as a group counter everything, and the flat 5 gold you get back is far better on a 60 resource unit than it is on a 250 resource elephant. also you get cheaper stronger priests vs myth. It's a build centered on basic units though, so i try to get mythic age for tornado spam since my favor isnt used on myth units much.

I think the numbers are different because the UI shows damage per attack while the tooltip while hovering over shows DPS. Also the "ch" in "petsuchos" is pronounced like in "choir", like all the "ch"s in AoM I think.

The attack is a continuous attack for 2 seconds, dealing 5 ranged and 1 divine per second :P (regarding the tooltip)

Damage is Not the Same as DPS my Guy. Crocodiles only Attack every 2 Seconds, you need to read the Numbers by the >> arrows farther down saying 2. The lower the number the faster they attack

the attack numbers beside the icons shows the damage dealt by an attack, the tooltip when you hover with the mouse shows the damage per second calculation, which takes attack speed into account. I think. a very confusing way to show damage. then again this is the game that uses "pierce" "hack" and "crush" instead of "ranged" "melee" and "siege" like a sane person would.

I don't even think it's the worst way to display damage, armor, attack speed, bonus damage and so on. I just wish you didn't have to hover over damage to show the damage per second, but maybe there's a setting for that I haven't found yet.

Ra seems so bad in 1 v 1 games, wouldn't it be better to not go all in on farms and save the gold for miltary units instead to push map control? The food advantage didnt seem to help that much and the new small empowered buff doesnt seem to really help either. This is a shame, i feel like AOM needs to do something about the resigning if it wants to be more entertaining. I have played Age Of Mythology since 2002 and absolutely loved it from the get go, but as with so many other games do we think the devs will try and milk every ounce of nostalgia out of this? Like blizzard absolutely trashed SC2 post release, by introducing a span of units that shit on the original game, loot boxes, battle pass, micro transactions or something else? Would be awesome to use Ra tornado without crashing the game.
