QOTD: Shiny Fennekin! When XY were coming out, I went to the midnight release and was standing in line, chatting with everyone. We got on the topic of shinies, and I mentioned how I had never gotten a random shiny before, even with shiny charms and the odd egg. Just really unlucky. I got home with Pokemon X, booted it up, and picked Fennekin. The battle with Shauna begins, my Fennekin goes out and it's shiny! One of my favourite pokemon memories.

QOTD: I really like the entire Fennekin shiny line. I'm a huge fan of the purple coloring, and it fits well with the whole mage aesthetic. I do like Rowlet's seafoam green shiny coloring as well, though.

For the record, the Hat Pikachu CAN be Shiny, but they're Shiny Locked. They do have Shiny forms, they're just Gengar-Level. As in, near indistinguishable. Just a slightly lighter shade of yellow.

QOTD: My favorite shiny starter(s) are Litten and Eevee, depending on if you consider an Eevee as a starter. I got both as eggs, but I was hunting Litten and I got it as my first shiny starter. As for Eevee, I got it as my first gift Eevee from the Sun & Moon gift Egg. I was presently surprised with the Eevee.

Amazing how Mikey almost got all 7 shiny Grass starters. He began with rowlet, evolved it into a Bulbasaur, got Chespin, Treeko, and turtwig. Only to end it with a mega venusaur. And, PM7 got a snivy. If people hate Chikorita, don't worry, the game does, too.

Rowlet has a great mint colouring, dartrix's blue is really pretty and decidueye's black and blue really make him look like an archer of the night and I think it's amazing.
