Man, the lake looks so cool, and fun to fish when it's calm, overcast and foggy like that. Can't wait to go fishing in a couple days, myself! Pretty soon I'm gonna try to catch Bass and Walleye in the lake off my kayak, but for now, I'm gonna try for some rainbows and brown trout when we get some cloud cover before it rains with some Roostertails, Trout magnets, and Powerbait. Anyways, I really enjoyed watching your video as always! Tight lines and good luck in your next fishing trip, brother!

The traditional angler of any kind can’t compete with live scope. The playing field is based on weather you can afford or want one of those. I like your channel because you still like the element of surprise!

I disagree. Livescope has its place and yes it can give advantages but there are also times that people lock themselves into one place trying to catch a fish because they can see it on the screen and then miss out.
@teamtigershotokan10 ай бұрын
@southwestindianaoutdooradv4714 of course...which explains why so many tournaments are won with Livescope...😂😂😂😂 because "people lock themselves into one place."

When John B was able to find, fish, follow and harass a giant LMB into anger striking a lure after 50 casts as it was swimming around the lake, that's when I knew it's the most over the top tool in fishing. It shouldn't be in tournaments. All fish finders should be banned. You should have to find them by skill and intuition.

Still waiting for a chance to go fishing even from the bank or bridge. Still a lot of ice on everything but not good ice. We lost an older gentleman a few weeks ago that went through the ice. We don’t get those 12” ice sheets. Right now it’s warmed up above freezing during the day with a little rain but hopefully we’ll get some clear water. Of course then it will be high and dirty and they still won’t have the docks in. I have a motor on my Old Town but I’m old and can’t paddle or pedal that much.

The livescope would help most but bud just one fisherman to another. You can outfit a kayak with a quality down imagining/color graph with temp and gps for under 200 bucks used. You need to start learning simple electronics and marketplace can help you get different brands to see which operating system you like best. I have a humming bird on one yak and a lawrance on the other and i prefer the lawrance but i go back to using those old lawrance paper graphs yeah im old lol.

My buddy actually hooked a beaver once. He was night fishing and thought he had hooked a turtle or something until it got close enough to see. So he says. Then the worse part was instead of calling animal control he cut the line and the beaver has a hook in his mouth. Hopefully it was a cheap hook and rusted out quick but I bet that beaver went thru a lot of pain once infection set in if it did.

Generally I dont get upset by much, and realize someone is always going to keep making new tools for fishing. I don't have any problem with it overall, But for tournaments it really can make a huge difference. If your goal is to be in the top 5 every tournament you almost need to get it, I hope they make it illegal for kayak tournaments but don't see it changing, Just having it though doesnt make you better, but already good fisherman adding it makes them even better from what I have seen

Great video and I’m torn. I see the benefits of live scope but at the same time there is something to be had about searching an area and finding where the fish are versus technology showing you exactly where they are. IMO love scope should be banned in all tournaments and it should be up to the angler’s expertise to find where the fish are.

Well Brother, I have been bass fishing for around fifty years and I have a secret to share with you about that one big fish you needed. You need to spit on your plug and then hold your tongue outside on the right corner of your mouth. It may not help you catch a big one but when you look at your video and see how silly you look, it will give you something to laugh at. Oh yeah, and turn your hat sideways. That's real important. Sorry you didn't get in the top ten. I just love watching you fish. Keep it up.
