yesterday i finally got a full nbc suit with the gas mask and filters. i went into the pavlovo military base unprepared without a stash for my old gear but i went with it anways. i got inside and all i was finding were 1911's and then on my way out i got stuck under a fence and died to the gas. my experience with dayz 😁.

Why have they not added "body dragging" or some kinda body carrying to dayz? like, u can def carry bodies in arma. it'd be nice to hide a body to loot it and not have to loot in the middle of the road

It's probably on the list. They just prioritise some more important features over others and that is something that could be difficult to implement.

@@sk8ermGs the engine is over 20 years old so they have trouble cracking out stuff without it being buggy just be grateful that they are implementing more pc mechanics to console I really don't care about the takedown animation but the gas zones and the mechanics behind that are golden so please don't bitch about the game if it's not your cup of tea then don't play the game but there is no need to project that you don't like the game just don't play it

Even if they put the mechanic in the game players would find a way to abuse it like making human backpacks out of people but then again they can counter it by adding a slow walking animation, and it can do some good by helping your teammates, and helping keep yourself from getting killed like you said so over all not a bad idea

The answer is yes, most rubber slugs have a metal core and would punch through a door no problem I would imagine especially from close range like that

I think that last guy was a stream sniper as well. When you went back to the tree, he was shooting in your direction. Almost as if he knew precisely where you put everything. To top it off, when you approached his location, he knew exactly which direction you were coming from. Like he just “happened to be looking that way.” It seems fishy. I love this game. I rarely play it on PS4. But only because it's so hard and having piss poor frame rate isn't an incentive. I wish I was good at it. I play for about 14 hours and die a lot. I usually survive longer towards the end of my play session. I have to say that the scope of this game is quite incredible. And the graphics are still amazing to me.

@Allison Marquard I put in about a year myself. With the lessons I've learned, I became a looting god of survival gear. All of my friends like it when I run around and find things that they need/want. Unlike Paul at times, I believe in violence when dealing with the infected

I used to play on a Xbox One (original), frame rate was awful, switched to a Xbox Series S, night and day difference, full 60 fps, no stutters, no random freezing, performance is a whole different level. Try to play again if you switch to PS5.

A rubber slug would definitely go through a wall/door super easy. Anything leaving a shotgun barrel has enough powder to make a bad time to whatever is directly in front of it. Even Blanks can kill.

Depends on the type of door. Interior wood door rubber slugs should pen. But metal or solid exterior wood doors it should not.

I like to drag and drop. If shot or hit by a zed bandages can lose their disinfected status but still be usable. I always used to hotbar them in the old game, I don’t find it a good idea anymore.

Rubber slug might penetrate a door, but wouldn't have enough energy after doing so to cause any damage whatsoever. Buckshot would penetrate a door far better than a rubber slug, and continue to be deadly afterward for a great distance.

00 12 gauge buck irl launches 9 .35(basically 9mm) lead balls at 9mm velocities every shot, so it's very deadly and capable of penetrating doors certainly. I haven't found buckshot yet in DayZ, only rifled slugs
