First Track Day With My Honda Civic Type R!

Today marks the first of many... I had an amazing first time at Driveway Austin today! This even makes wonder which direction I should take the EK hatch?!

Good to see another FK8 out on track :) Keep up the good work man - work on those lines and good work on seeking out coaching. It definitely fast tracks the learning curve of performance driving. Keen to see how you improve from here on out. P.S. If you keep tracking the FK8 for the long haul - definitely look at an oil cooler and PWR radiator as well.

No this is just the beginner track since it was my first time there ever. Theres 3 tracks there. The last drive in the video is actually a tour of the whole track. Lots of room to hit 120+ easy :)

All you need is more laps. I'm definitely gonna have to drive a few hours, but I'm definitely gonna hot the track eventually. Doing 80 on the highway ain't the same.

Great content Syrus. Yes keep on doing the track days. I do Track Cruise here in NZ. Cheaper than Time Attack as no safety equipment required. Just concentrate on your lines and the rest will come. One bit of advice given to me. Either your hard on the gas or hard on the brake, nothing else will do, for racing.

I have the 2020 type r in Europe.. Sorry mate but this video is a shame for the type r... You have one of the fastest fwd cars on the track and every one is passing you.. Keep drive this weapon and learn how to use.. This is a friendly advice from a type r owner to a type r owner..

It was my first track day ever in my life. I was the only one there whom it was their first time on a track. What do you expect perfect lines and times on someone first time? No... im not going to go out of my way and try to be unsafe and show off for KZbin, I'm going to stay within my limits.. no need to be prick my guy just some friendly advice. If your gonna give advice do it correctly. Please upload videos of you tracking and give advice.( not being rude/sparky but genuine) im always open to learning.
