Looks like a lot of great fun, and it was great watching you enjoy your pulls. What an amazing car! Also glad to see you took the time to actually read the Demon 170 manual and, most importantly, follow the correct break-in procedure. Putting the manual up on the screen showng the 1,500 break-in millage was also helpful because others have incorrectly told viewers the break-in millage is only 500 miles. And, what do you know, after you correctly broke-in your engine it ran great. Keep it all the fun, and thanks for sharing! The Demon 170 haters on KZbin are going to be terribly upset your engine did not fail. LOL. So far not a single documented engine failure where the Demon 170 engine was broken in CORRECTLY folks. Should be no suprise.

The tools this car has takes a lot of the stress off the driver for sure. Makes it easier and a LOT of fun.

Great content! I raced at Beach Bend in 2003 ( even though Im from the Philadelphia, PA area) when visiting freinds in the Nashville . Nice track. Good luck with your 170 progress, I'll be sure to tune in.

New p.b. is awesome. Hopefully Mrs Speedy is happier now too, I'm guessing that brought your moods up some from the reactions going down the track, and the time slip reactions...lol.😂 Almost sounded a little like Doc Brown when he saw the flux capacitor actually worked....lol😂😂

I'm happy for you Speedy. You put a lot of work into all your projects and I'm glad the car is performing to your expectations. Great number for a first visit to the track although you likely know more about how to drive it than 99% of the owners. Low 9's are a great realistic target. Good Luck!

Hm.🤔 I’ve “recovered” from my SRT addiction & retreated into the woods of Kentucky with a high flow tracked skid steer & guns.😁 Never thought I’d look back at Dodge. Thanks for a great video.😉

Nice Run, I have a couple of friends that have those cars and traction is the challenge. Glad to see you using the torque limiting feature. I had one of the Demon 170 owners telling another not to waist their time with the launch control. I had to explain to him that this is different from his 2018 Demon. I guess people still don't really read the manuals? My one friend has managed to get his down to a 9.17 with the front wheels about a foot in the air here in Bradenton FL. I am sure when you have had some practice with the launch you will get the times much faster.

For me it will be all down to surface prep and how much power I can put down. The launch features (trans brake specifically) have impressed me thus far.

You probably go through tires fast when you have do a burn out to get the tires warmed up every time you have a pass. I don’t know anything about drag racing, but damn!

That is just Plain Goodness🙌👏. The Demon 170 is just a Monster & hard to believe it’s street legal emission & all. It’s like a Jr Street Legal Drag Pac. Love the technology & the drivers ability to adjust the performance. I follow Ron Silva with his 170 & boy ol boy he sure knows his car. Very good 1st time results & looking forward to them low 60ft times. 👍😉

The next thing I would do is change tires. Why not try two or three different kinds and get the car to hook hard. If it was me, I would go to a 15" wheel and tire so I could leave maxed out and hook.
