First Trail Camera Moments: Coyote(s)! Maybe I have found my duck thief!

Hello everyone. I have my trail camera up and I have been working out the kinks as I go.
Over the summer we have lost most of our muscovy hens and we have wondered what was taking them. I wondered about the chance that it is coyotes but I didn't think they would come so close. When I set up my trail camera I was surprised to see that they were coming in closer than I expected and were coming almost nightly.
I haven't caught anything close to the ducks but I am still watching to see what comes by.

well coyotes do seem to really not care for how close they go to people, i'll have the lights on and still hear them within a couple hundred feet away outside screaming. hope you can figure out how to solve the problem soon though!

It really is amazing that they can be so comfortable. It is tricky around here because we have so much vegetation that they can move around without me knowing. My dog barks but I never know what of the many animals it could be. So far I am keeping my eyes open and I'm doing some thinning for forest health that should help out. Best wishes.

Honestly, this has been a very hard year for my family for reasons that I won't discuss on KZbin. But I'm coming back around and I have really missed posting videos. Hopefully you will be seeing stuff from me more regularly.

jeesh i hate coyotes, they have eaten my chicken , ducks, and a couple of dogs. you need a big ole pasture dog. its too hot here in the summer for me to get one🥲

I am with you on the danger of coyotes and how a big dog would help. We will have to see how things progress.
