No one talks about the first trimester digestion! By far my worst symptom. You’ll get through it! Lots of carbs and water and don’t feel guilty about what you’re eating. Its survival mode and you’ll be back to your regular diet in no time :) so excited to watch this journey!!!

You’re beautiful to give that advice. ❤ I agree…. Eat whatever you think sounds good. I craved bruschetta until about 12 weeks then craved fruit… milk and coco pops 😂. I think your body makes you crave what you need. I love side water too. The morning sickness is awful and I hope the nausea stops soon ❤ in a few months you will hold your beautiful baby

During my first trimester I struggled SO much with food aversions even though I was so hungry and also knew I needed to eat. I cried many tears over how difficult I found food and I was so jealous of my husband who would look forward to food! It does get better, I truly never through the first trimester would ease but it does and it’s so bliss! Anxiety is so normal, I’m in the late second trimester and still get anxious. I read a quote saying that we will not only be meeting a brand new little person but a whole new version of ourselves too, it’s scary and exciting and a whirlwind experience. I’m there with you mama ❤

The best thing I did during my pregnancy was not let my belly get too empty. I ate every 1 and a half - 2 hours. I wouldn't necessarily eat more volume of food as I'd split every meal into 2 portions and snacks could be just a little fruit or some crackers. I did this pretty much through to 3rd trimester and it helped the nausea and sickness so so much!!! And when you hit the mucus or heartburn phase sleep with your head elevated. Those are my 2 biggest tips ❤

I was extremely anxious but felt so much relief once i made it through the first trimester so i understand AJ. My 1st trimester was very tough on me too, but it was just a reminder that our little baby was still there…but the nauseous and fatigue still suck 😭

Even when first trimester is hard and I feel nauseous and sick I'm still going to say this is an amazing blessing! It can be hard but remember the tears you cried from wanting this so bad

I am 8 weeks pregnant right now and I’ve been sick as a dog all day everyday nausea and throwing up or gagging I literally can only keep down soup so far and maybe strawberries and saltines and I’ve lost like 5 lbs . Since I’ve reached my 8 week mark like 2 days ago I’ve been woken up consistently at or around 3 am and have thrown up. I know there’s better days to come though . Can’t wait to watch the rest of your journey 🎉

I’m so invested!! You poor thing, feeling sick is just the worst. It’s such a different kind of nausea/fatigue. Don’t feel bad for resting extra and letting others take on more. You are growing the baby, and by allowing others to help - it’s like THEIR way of supporting baby too:) rest up! I hope your nausea gets better soon! Even if it doesn’t, remember that once you have that little bean it will all be forgotten. You’ve given your all for this little life, you are already the best month we, congratulations ❤️

My first trimester nausea and vomiting never left. It did stop at 6 months 3 weeks, I delivered 4 weeks later. I ran a low blood sugar too, so I would be nauseated, vomit and then pass out around the toilet. It was fun. My second came when she was 5 months old. He is 13 months younger than her. Congrats on your beautiful family and more to come.

I went on Reglan and it helped prevent vomiting. I know some people have great success with Zofran. Just keep advocating for yourself and hopefully you find something that helps lessen the severity. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m currently 11 weeks + 4. Have been having the exact same symptoms! You couldn’t have said it better. I literally told my husband it feels like I’m constantly trying to get over a stomach bug (like in the im not throwing up stage anymore but still feeling so icky that I don’t want to eat). I feel the best while I’m eating (if it’s something I’m craving) but then right after I feel so ick. I also work clinically (dental hygienist) so it’s hard to always have my game face on. The worst symptom has been the gas cramping. I will literally be in the fetal position between patients… It’s so hard but so worth it for the little baby in the end :) ❤

Congratulations! I found you while I was TTC and you helped me prepare for my IUI journey. The 2nd round worked and Im now 18 weeks! Hang in there, 1st trimester was rough for me too with constant nausea all day everyday. Vitamin b6 didn’t work and unisom made me super groggy. I learned that I just felt worse if I was hungry, so eat snacks every 2 hours if you can. Itll get better once you hit your 2nd trimester. I’m so happy for you and wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Currently watching your video at 30 weeks pregnant. I wish you all the best❤. My first trimester was easy, except for the gas. Second trimester I became nauseous and had a bit of morning sickness. I would say the worst part of being pregnant for me is the uncomfortable-ness. From the middle of the second trimester you become super exhausted and uncomfortable walking, sitting, standing. Everything you do becomes painful. And then the 3rd trimester hits and you can't even sit in the same position for 2 minutes before getting backaches, nevermind trying to fall asleep. My hips have never felt this kind of pain before. Like you said, it's all worth it.💓💓

I'm currently 38 weeks and I still have nausea! Unisom and B6 only helped so much, but I was getting sick every morning starting at 6 weeks, and then was getting sick multiple times a day after 16 weeks. No drink or cracker or remedy would keep me from getting sick. I finally agreed to get on Zofran and it has helped immensely. I tried to tough it out, but I was having more bad days than good days. Can't wait to meet our little lady and to not be nauseous every day! Congratulations on this exciting chapter, enjoy all the highs and lows. It will fly by!

Girl, your first trimester sounds exactly like mine 😅 I’m currently 39 weeks and glad to be near the end of pregnancy. Don’t feel bad about your fitness/nutrition goals from pre-pregnancy, you just gotta accept that has to go on the back burner. You’re fighting for your life right now to just get to 12 weeks, it will eventually get better (for me this happened closer to 16 weeks, sorry to say!). Eat those carbs and all that Taco Bell and don’t worry about weight gain, honestly stop weighing yourself. I put on 18 pounds by 20 weeks and was terrified to gain 60 lbs or something crazy but it balanced itself out, I’ve put on a normal 35 lbs. Best of luck to you, you’re almost out of the woods with nausea hopefully! Ask your doc about doxylamine, that helped me.
