Excellent stuff! So sorry we couldn’t make it but we use our Nugget so much and have so many plans. Our van is just over 7 months old and we’ve done over 11,000 miles already. At least we got to say hello at Disneyland Paris (of all places) and hopefully see you again later in the year (or next year) at Nugget Connect 2! Keep up the amazing work and things that you do.

Awesome video guys and a fabulous meet up! Swapping stories and ideas about vans and adventures! Thanks for adding our peice to camera, makes us feel part of it and we really wish we could have joined in! 🤔 Was Catrin a news presenter in a previous career?! - a natural (the camera man is pretty good too!!!). Ha! We had brilliant 'guests' making the 'presenting' very easy to be fair! The cameraman enjoyed playing with the drone! You are right Jordan... the editing took a while. Hey guys. What a great idea. We finally got ours in April this year after a very long wait, so perhaps next year 😊. After a bit of advice though from fellow Nuggeteers. We have a Thule aerobar that we'd like to attach to our Nugget (for the paddle boards) and no one seems to be able to advise us on the foot pack and fitting kit that we need, as it's not a standard recognised vehicle. We've been told to go back to manufacturer but they remain silent. We're looking for a fitting that is not too high from the roof (about 50mm). Any help most appreciated 😊.

Hi Rachel. Thanks for watching, and yes hopefully you will be able to join in next year at Nugget Connect. Dates will be out soon! Really sorry but don't know this info to hand..but Neil assures me we will be looking at roof bars sometime soon...so will keep the channel updated if we do. In the meantime it may be worth asking this in some of the Facebook forums for example 'Ford Nugget UK' 'Ford Nugget Campervan Chat' or Ford Nugget International. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, its Paul and Claire down in Cornwall with our L2 Magnetic Grey Nugget! Only took a year and a week to arrive and we are still waiting for accessories to turn up from Germany 3 months after delivery 😞. Anyway great video as always. We really like what the guys did with the seat over the toilet - any chance they could share the design with us or post a drawing on the Face Book page please?? Also anyone having problems with the Wesfalia touch screen display? After about 5 minutes of being turned on our 3 side menu buttons (Home/Messages/Power) stop working. Only way to recover the functionality is to do a hard reset by turning off the van power. I've reported back to Keith Motors in Christchurch and asked them to start a warranty claim with Wesfalia. Really appreciate if the toilet seat conversion people can get in touch. Cheers. Paul and Claire 🙂

In terms of both of these queries, it may be worth you taking a look at some Facebook forums and asking these questions there - I'm pretty sure many of the owners are on there and they will be able to post photos etc directly . I think I have also seen some discussion on the panel. As you know, we have the 2020 version so we don't have this same panel so no direct experience of this I'm afraid. The facebooks forums I've seen are 'Ford Nugget UK' 'Ford Nugget Campervan Chat' and 'Ford Nugget International'. If no luck- please come back to us and we will do our best to find out. Maybe someone on here has info too and can post a comment. Thanks again for watching.

No the hard top high tops are not currently available in the UK as far as we know. Shame- would suit the UK climate!

Very interesting to see all the Nuggets with pop tops. Here in Germany, the majority of users seem to have a highroof. Do some of you use a thermal roof cover or is that not necessary?

Hi ihmchris. Yes - just pop tops available in the UK at present. We've been using a DIY pop top cover over late winter and spring (not sure if you have already seen that vlog). Many people do use a wrap in the colder months and some very good recommended companies we are looking into getting one made for next winter. It really does depend on personal preference and weather but you would think the UK temperatures would be ideal for the high roof option! Time will tell !

@@ihmchris Think maybe because the Nugget from Ford is relatively new over here- think they have been sold from 2020 or thereabouts. Know they have been really popular in Europe for quite some time.

Hi. I have a Mazda Bongo at the moment but I am planning to buy a Nugget. I asked our local dealer if I could buy the hard/ High top one with the fixed bed in the UK, but they didn't get back to me. Anyone know? The Campsite looks fab, where did you stay please? Sorry to ask lots! Thanks in advance

Hi Kim! Thanks for messaging. The hightop is available in Europe at the moment. It would work so well for the UK climate though wouldn't it but not heard any plans to sell it over here. Nugget Connect was held at River View Touring Park SA4 0FH www.riverviewtouringpark.com last year- not that far from Ammanford which I can see from your other post that you've visited. Great base to drive to many locations in South West Wales. Happy adventuring.
