Thanks for your message. Loved Nugget Connect again this year and yes- a lot of background planning etc but so worth it. 2024 in the planning stages now! Great idea about sharing ideas/tips. It's what we focussed on in the vlog for Nugget Connect 2022 but took a different angle this year. Maybe something to think about for 2024. Hi Neil, Catrin. We have been following your KZbin channel since day one and benefited from your explanations of and experience with the Nugget. We purchased our Nugget Plus in June 2021 and enjoyed the journey and learning experience with you. Your latest video Nugget Connnect confirms there is a great Nugget Community out there who really appreciate the benefits off this campervan. Unfortunately for personal health reasons we now have to sell our van so I was thinking if you know of anyone who would be interested in a June 2021 Chrome Blue Custom Nugget Plus 340 L2 Camper 185ps Automatic. Tracker Locate fitted 5 year contract (3 years left) it would be good to know. Wishing you continued success with your channel.

Good afternoon, hope you are all well. My wife and I really enjoy all of your vlogs, thank you for them. I have a 2021 Ford Nugget pop top with the touch screen Control Panel and it has a slight fault with it, that I noticed within days of taking delivery of it. I have sought help from the dealership, who in turn contacted Ford UK, who in turn contacted Westfalia. Westfalia said that they were aware of the generic fault and they did actually issue a new software update in December 2022, that should have been rolled out to all Ford Nuggets pre-December 2022 that have the touch screen Control Panel. I have no way of knowing if this rollout happened, however this new software update still didn’t resolve the fault, so just a few weeks ago Westfalia sent a replacement Control Panel, unfortunately though the fault still remains even with a new panel, so I’m wondering if anyone else has the same fault. So the fault I have and that has existed since I purchased my Nugget, is that when my Touch Screen Control Panel has been turned on and left untouched for a random period of time, on the touchscreen Control Panel, the “Home” button, the “Messages” button and the “On/Off” button will not function, they ‘seize or freeze up’, (theses are actually icons on the touchscreen, not buttons, but they are called buttons in the manual). So I was wondering if any other Nugget owners with Touch Screen Control Panels had experienced the same fault. Because it’s a very intermittent random fault and if the Control Panel is being used, and ‘livened-up’ a lot, the fault may not show up, so Nugget owners with the same Control Panel may not even realise that their Control Panel has such a fault, and with their warranties running down it’ll be expensive to put right later on if it becomes worse. So it could be really helpful for them to know, so they can know to check to see if they do have such a fault like mine has, and it’d be really helpful for me to know as well so that if others are the same as mine, I can alert Ford UK that it is a common place fault. Also, possibly the Nugget owners with the touchscreen control panel aren’t even aware that there is actually a software update that they should now have as well, so that’d be helpful for them to know. So I was wondering if you could somehow ask some of them if they do have such a fault? and let them know about the software update as well. I’d be really grateful if you can help. For clarity, my Control Panel does actually come out of standby by touching it anywhere other than directly on the 3 buttons that I have described that will not function, these are the 3 buttons that are supposed to bring it out of standby etc, but even though the screen ‘livens up’ pressing it anywhere, these 3 buttons will still not function as they are supposed to, until I completely reset the Control Panel, by turning the power off and on. Another issue that I had was that the leisure batteries seemingly would not charge to 100%, this was resolved for me once the software had been updated, although it’s quite disappointing that it was resolved with the ‘loss’ of the readings counting down or up in single digit increments, so now after the update my Control Panel goes either up or down in a block of 10%, so 100% to 90% to 80% and so on, instead of as it did originally before the software update, from 100% to 99% to 98% and so on,,,so this issue has been resolved at the expense of now having less accuracy in the readings. I have videoed the fault if that would help to describe it to others, that’s if you can help? Kind regards John and Angela

As you are probably aware, we have the older version of the Nugget with the control panel at the front. Therefore we don't have any personal experience or information on this. Do you have access to Facebook? There are a few Nugget Forums on there and we'd encourage you to share this useful information on there maybe? Hopefully our issue is a one off and no one else is experiencing the same issues but because Ford and Westfalia are so, almost secretive, about this though, and they’re not even informing people that the new Control Panel is designed to have the software updated and that there is a new software update available, I am not so sure.
