Why would you add larger stone on top of a finished driveway?

​@@BreakFreeHomesteadhe's saying cause u usually put down bigger rock like 2 inch first then your smaller rock it helps to keep the driveway from pumping like yours is or u can use fabric but personally I just like to use more rock instead
