First use of RotaDairon BRD 50 on a Toro Dingo TX 1000

This is literally my first use of this new attachment. She takes a little getting used to, by that I mean you have to get the skids parallel with the ground. The floating head is amazing. Quality engineering pays off.
I have been looking into this attachment for about two years and finally decided to get it. From this and future videos I believe I made a good decision.

I wanted to ask what would something like that cost but then I saw you're mulching around (probably your own) oil field. So I guess price wasn't the issue.,..I can't put enough money aside for almost two year to buy a regular used walk behind brush mower for a 1000$.. And then there's this...Ahhhh, jealous, yes I am...

I own the land, the local indian tribe owns the oil. I was just cleaning their neglect. No money for me on that deal. The attachment runs $10000. Yes, that number is correct. There is only one dealer in the US; they're out of the Carolinas. I looked at this attachment for about 2 years and watched every KZbin video I could find, probably 100 times per video. I was deeply concerned the attachment wouldn't be able to handle the abuse of the job it would be asked to do. But now that I have used it in various vegetation I am very happy with my purchase. The build quality is excellent and she is tough. Now, I am not an abuser of equipment, but if used properly the attachment works great. I shot additional videos mulching differing types of vegetation, I just need to quit being lazy and upload them to KZbin for others to view. So, stay tuned, I'll have them uploaded eventually. I cut trees for a living and have the same machine you got. I was thinking about the brush cutter for the machine when I come across this mulcher how big of stuff will it handle

2"-3". It will produce a really fine finished product. Whereas many other attachments produce a larger, stringier finished product. Its all about what you are looking to accomplish.

Hi Seth, Can you let me know how much the BRD 50 weight? I notice some ad claim its weight 222kg, but I also seen it weight 300kg as well. Just wondering if there are two version of the BRD 50.

I am unaware of multiple versions of the BRD 50. I am unaware of the exsct weight. Contact STRC Equipment for those details. They ate the only dealer in the US for this attachment.

Those mini skid steers are more expensive that a 30hp Kubota Tractor.

Soul Flyer, each machine has its place, but mini skid steer I believe is more versatile. Personally I don’t care to be turning around and looking back at a three point hitch implement. But that’s just personal preference, I’ve had both and I prefer the mini skid where all the work is, out in front.

Hi. How much does the cutting head weighs? Is the connection custom made?

It weighs a little under 700lbs. The mounting plate is a universal mounting plate ..... nothing special about it. When you purchase the attachment they will ask you what type of a machine it is to be used with.

The attachment is around $10000, the machine around $32000. There is only one dealer for the attachment in the US, STEC Equipment out of North Carolina (I believe). The machine can be purchased from your local Toro dealer.

Good. My hydraulic motor went out, but RotaDairon covered the entire cost. I think that is first class service. It works just as good today as it did on day one.
