I visited Mysore in 1993, since then not been there. Mysore Palace was fantastic a great experience and Vrindavan gardens. As our trip was booked with KSTDC we stayed inside Vrindavan gardens some South Indian movie shooting was going on then there. I just travelled in time with you. Thanks for the wonderful vlog. This is the only VB express that covers two big and important Tier 1 cities - Bangalore and Chennai. No other VB express does that currently (all are between one big city and either a Tier 2 or Tier 3 city).

Also i don't know if you are familiar with amarkantak express or not but if you are then i want to know that why this train gets delayed by 2 hours between katni South and umaria when going towards durg? @@winny1057 amarkantak express is my favourite train , it is the only train for me from jabalpur to bhilai , and recently i have travelled in this train of course with icf coaches for last time beacause from 15th december this train gets lhb coahces. When i was travelling from jabalpur to bhilai it was delay 1 hr from bhopal itself , when i woke up it was standing at bilaspur outer for half an hour , then it moves then stops then it moves then stop , then reached bilaspur , after departure this train got slow before bhatapara, .And in return journey it got rescheduled from durg for 1 hr and reached jabalpur 2 hrs late. worst condition of secr

@@shubhodeepgoswamirailfancl1050 looks like one year ago it was my last ICF journey in this train. That time it was very punctual use to reach bilaspur on time and also raipur on time. There were slight delays of 5-10 minutes but that is okay but nowadays this train never reaches on time always 2-4 hours late, and again i will be doing journey on this train but it will lhb journey now.

I am from Mysore. It's a good place to be. Trains from mysuru have the best food and they are the cleanest trains in India. Mysore division is very clean and hygienic in terms of food and trains. They are also safe. The food (lunch) is packed from Mysore. Everywhere else the food even in vande Bharat is not that good Pin pls

There are IT engineers and regular workers travelling everyday and everyweekend. Vande bharat will only be successful during weekends.verg high cost for 2.5 hfs journey. 250 rupees in normal train that too 4 - 5 hrs. Its good that it will differentiate between need and affordability.

The only sad part is that this train system was developed in the ICF Facility in the southern state of Chennai/Tamil Nadu but out of the 7 routes run by VandeBharat trains in 2022 just ONE is in South India. Indian Railways which is dominated by north Indian employees decided that Bilaspur, Varanasi, Vaishno Devi or Nagpur are more important to connect by VandeBharat express before Chennai-Mumbai, Bangalore-Hyderabad, Chennai-Kochi or Bangalore-Thiruvananthapuram. Some of these Southern railway routes are not even on the roadmap yet for new ultra high speed trains.

They are already trying to update old infrastructure. They also need to consider the feasibility of running each one and then decicide on priorities, stats matter, and they also need to consider initial trials on smaller scales before deploying on major routes. At the end, the goal is to improve the whole infrastructure, which is happening as of writing with the inauguration of new schedules, and more routes will be added down the road along with pending projects. We Indians want all things at once, of course, that's natural. Railway will invest whooping $680B by 2030. It's still 2023. P.S. I'd love to see these in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, but we all know it comes at cost.

I traveled by this train on Nov 27th, coach E1..Mysuru to Bengaluru.. " Kuch khaas nahi!!!!" Nothing great except the exorbitant price compared to Shatabdi, which takes a little longer , about 30 mins more. I don't eat train food, so cannot comment on the food offered. Cleanliness is not superb. Automatic closing doors is just a gimmick. Big deal. Even road coaches have automatic door closing. The train slows down near Kengeri ( when travelling Mysuru to Bengaluru), the trip could easily be done in about 1 1/2 hrs, but thats Indian Railways for you. My suggestion.. dont even bother booking by this train, just go by Shatabdi if on the Mysuru-Bengaluru sector.

Satya bhai C1 coach is not at all comfortable as compared to other coaches. I traveled in C1 coach of this train after inaugural run and not satisfied with seat in this coach. Food however was very good
