Thank you for mentally preparing me for the experience TvT we went yesterday, and one of the cast members literally grabbed my arm- this was in Jack's circus, and it was actually way darker than I had thought from looking at this video TvT''' and there were cast members pretending to be mannequins in the very very front, so I think the setup changes everytime, maybe? for Jack's circus we literally ran out screaming xD thought that was scary and then House 81 blew my socks off T^T Thanks for sharing your experienceee !! :)

All of the food there looks so delicious! The little monster merch are so cute!! The minions are cute, too. I usually don't like minions but they made all of the merch of them too cute! The doors in the hotel room are so tall! Makes me wonder why they chose that height. The mascots walking around (both the ones from movies and the scary ones) are actually pretty cool. It's amazing how the all the mazes could still be scary even though there are other guests walking before and after you. The ones that seem the creepiest to walk in are the cornfield and the closet cause the're too many places the scarers could be hiding in. The mirror and curtain areas look difficult to walk to though cause they seem hard to navigate.

I saw a different youtuber's run of it and someone actually popped out of the bathtub from underwater, which I've never seen in any other HHN! Apparently House 81 is based on some stories from an actual allegedly haunted building in Beijing.

You do realize that horror nights is mostly for adults and this is more designed for everyone during the day and then scary things at night. Having horror themed only activities excludes a large majority of guests who also enjoy halloween but don't want to be terrified. What's "lame" to you might be perfect halloween fun for others.
