Cool to see a smaller scale business starting up instead of the higher end $20,000 skids. I’m getting together everything I need and plan on starting early spring of 2023 unless I come across a job this year. Will be small scale on the back of my 96 ford ranger but plan on investing into the business. I have a 12hp Honda engine I’m trying to decide what is the best bang for my Buck on a pump for it. I’m looking at an AR viper 4200psi not sure the gpm off the top of my head.

This sounds like a fun project what’s your budget and what are u washing in your area I have put a lot of thought into what it takes to build a acual setup for starters that can acually realistically make money and do jobs in a reasonable amount of time for staters I’ve built a few different machines and ya just sh and just 8 gpm soft wash tips

I have a full time job this is just me wanting to get started doing my own thing part time and try to grow it. I’ll probably at first spend about $500-$1000 on some things and hopefully get a couple small jobs. I have credit so if I land a job that needs better equipment and it’ll make good money I’ll invest in it.

Ya I think those viper pumps will do ya right not a big direct drive fan made a gear drive one with the can pump On Amazon for like 460 that one was 5 gpm not a bad machice just a bit small but pulled water nice if u ever see a cheap belt drive one for sale even if it’s broken try to pick it up for the low that’s house I got the frame to build this one

Yea I prefer belt or gear drive I’m just looking at the direct mount simply for cost and to get the ball rolling quick and invest in better equipment over time. Thanks for replying quickly I’ll probably come back to pick your brain.

What motor did you build this with? Gx390?

What kind of height are you getting with this set up? I do a fair bit of 3 story houses and just wondering if I'll be able to do them from the ground.
@peachy447411 ай бұрын
this was the first one i built got all the height i mainly do 2-5 story homes i built a way better gear drive one with a 15.8 predator max engine and a general pump 8gpm 2600 working psi the comment pump in this vid was trash and my 5.5 comet pump was trash too i currently use a 22 hp predator gear drive with a 8 gpm and 3500 working psi 15.8 predator max gear drive build is best bang for your buck at around 2k all in from skid to unloader 2600 psi was never a issue with a 20in be with wheels liked that setup a lot and for the price you can’t beat it also harbor freights warranty’s are great too just get a pump support bracket if u go gear driven there only 20 bucks and relive the weight of pump and gear box you’ll get really good life out of it

Are you getting the 8gpm from that pump and motor ? I thought that you would need a much bigger motor.
@peachy44742 жыл бұрын
No u can get gpm no problem off the rpm the house powere is were pressure is made so my machine does about 2200 psi max might spike around 2500 but steady around 2200 witch had been pleanty the 5.5 gpm bandits are running a lower pressure too
