I'm Keith markham...the step son of Richard markham from whom owed that car...my step brother Brian markham ended up with the whole estate and I got screwed...I was with my dad when he bought the car...they spent a lot of money trying to get it to work...and yes your right it's been sitting since 2001...glad to see that at least someone took the time and effort into restoring it...best wishes to whoever gets that car...almost a 1 of a kind...it's really wrong though that after I was accepted as part of the family and took the family name that I got no respect from Brian as ever being part of th3 family and he walked away with everything and I had no say...he wasn't around I was....enough said...

I didn't see if anyone mentioned it, but make sure you flip the lug-nuts around on the Driver's front wheel. It looked like the wheel was inadvertently installed with the lug taper out... that will cause a pretty good vibration....and possibly a wheel falling off...neither of which is a good thing.😉

From the same MFR, actually plans designer that provided the vehicles for Arnold's version of "Total Recall". Some of the car plans had alternate power plants. Electric, gas, using Briggs and Stratton, I think there might have been hybrid. Can't think of the name but was on the net, they were still active. Boat plans, camper plans.

That's a lot of dirt and grime washed away! I'm guessing that Doorstop weighs about 20 lbs. less now. Amazing how well the paint buffed out, proof that one can polish a terd. 😂 Everyone loves 2-stage as it shines and takes little maintenance, but the beauty of single stage paint is that the oxidation layer can usually be removed and the paint polished, so long as the paint was of sufficient thickness.

Talk about polishing Cameron, I had an old friend I met at Oshkosh EAA years ago that just passed away. May he rest in peace. He always told the story of when he was a young crew chief on the B-52 back in the early 60's being young and always reading how to make airplanes go faster, they were to fly a formation of B-52's over DC one day so he decided to polish its wings. He took a floor polisher on top of the wings and polished them. He says in formation the lead calls out the throttle settings. Well his Caption was having a terrible time holding his position because his plane keep overtaking the rest. Needless to say his Caption called him out and ask him what he had done than ordered him front and center in front of the company commander the next day. His Commander didn't know what to do give him a medal for good effort or reprimand him. He ended up not getting in trouble.

Good job, with a couple of exceptions. When it would pressure washing they missed the headlights inside the insert or the headlights are, you can see black spots on both headlights in the corners. Also the metal strip where the windows close up, the strip was polished but when the windows are down you can see the strip still has dirt on it has not been, cleaned or white. That's just my observation from this clip. I'm surprised when I polished the car that did not pick up this, obvious dirt that was still there.

Those black spots are actually holes where the plastic or fibre glass has broken away. We saw that when Jimmy went round it when he got it.

That gives me hope for my 89 Class A RV that I'm (cough) improving, remodeling & modifying! 160 HP to 400 Turbo Ponies and 3 speed to 5 speed. Had to put a limited slip in the rearend to keep from lighting up the duelies. I'd rock that Doorstop with a serious drivetrain upgrade and make it a real grocery getter! Well Done!

an E-tek brushless motor would do small wonders for that CitiCar's acceleration and efficiency.. lots more range on a charge and 40-50% more power on demand. motor and controller for that wouldn't be cheap, but may be worthwhile.
