You don’t need an ID card if your just going to get a drivers licence. They both serve the same purpose except the one lets u drive too. You guys are amazing getting so much done so quickly. I like the vibe in your family seems like you respect each other! Love it!

Yea you are right. In fact I don’t think you’re even allowed to have both! Can you confirm? However most people, like us, don’t get the drivers license immediately. And the ID card was sooooo useful. We didn’t need to have our passports and COPR with us after we got it.

A little tip on furnitures. Don’t go to the big stores and buy cheaply made furniture for a lot of money. Value Village, and other trif store have better quality for less. My parents got a very unique and handcrafted 4 pieces bedroom set for less than 1000.

I live in Edmonton, close to where ever you are, I suspect, as one of the streets you drove on is in my neighbourhood! Edmonton has lots of library locations and great parks and playgrounds. Welcome to Edmonton area! tips for your lips.... moisturize, constantly! It's soo dry in Alberta you gotta go wild with moisturizing when you first get here, for at least the first year or two until you start to get somewhat use to it.

Welcome to Edmonton your family will love it here advice on furniture if shopping in thrift stores be very careful of soft furniture as I couches and arm chairs also store Jysk and Best Buy are good places to shop if you need appliances

Very informative vlog. I thought a job offer was required before moving. Also, that vehicle is huge! Lol. In the first vlog when you guys picked it up at the airport, I was like WOAH! RE: the credit cards, they're a "necessary evil" in the US, CAN etc. because of this whole credit score system. I know people have them in the Caribbean but the credit score system isn't a big thing.

There are pathways where having a job gets you in but that wasn’t the case for the pathway we chose. So right about the credit system: a necessary evil. But by God’s grace we will be using it to our advantage. lol

Try aquaphor or carmex for your lips it's like a petroleum jelly but thicker and put it on before you go to bed as well, also drink a lot of water

I live near Edmonton and I usually apply Burt’s Bees lip balm after gently brushing my lips with a toothbrush in a steamy shower. Do this right before bed. Especially since it’s been a while since this region has had lots of rain.

lol some people are not aware, but it may also just be an Alberta law. Because it was not the same in New York we had to rent car seats then as you see in the travel to Africa vlog. It was also nice not having to pay to rent the car seats for over a week when we were going to buy our own in a few days anyways. PS: I had put the link to the government website but you tube deleted it. Just search occupant restraint laws Alberta and check the exemptions.
