Hi there! Welcome to my first week in Vietnam! After a challenging arrival, I’m finally moving into my new spot at the Panorama hotel. This vlog is all about getting settled and making this city feel like home. First up, I head out to explore a local supermarket (prices included, of course 🛒), and wander around the city to soak up some Nha Trang vibes. Plus, I take a little time to reflect on how this adventure is starting off by journaling my thoughts. It’s all part of easing into my new routine while exploring what this coastal city has to offer! 🌊✨

Nha Trang and Da Nang are both best coast city in Viet Nam, cheap prices, nice weather and friendly people... Enjoy your new life and journey. 🥰😍

Absolutely agree. I almost went to Da Nang but chose Nha Trang as it’s in the south so better weather in autumn and more sun. Many people I meet here actually prefer Da Nang more… but so far I’m happy with Nha Trang! 🥰 the cost of living is amazingly affordable although I think it’s gonna change in the next few years …. Thank you!!! 🥰🥰🥰

You look like a young Charlize Theron in the thumbnail pic. Anyway... Probably my favorite city in Vietnam. I remember thinking of Brazil when I was there, in 2010, because of the “big/proper city + long-long sandy beach” combination. I’m going back to Vietnam in a few weeks, this time for three months (thanks to their change of policy, which now lets us spend up to 90 days on the same e-visa), and I’ll definitely be including Nha Trang in the itinerary. Enjoy. PS Good, vvvery good, to see that prices remain perfectly reasonable. Useful info, especially for people who are visiting soon.

Prices are still reasonable although I think it might drastically change within the next few years when more Europeans, Americans will start coming here. So now is the time to visit! Enjoy your trip too :) Thank you!!! 🥰

Vietnam, Cambodia, and The Philippines are the most affordable Southeast Asian countries. I advise everyone to get to know the locals in these countries and try to rent an apartment from an apartment rental company because it will be much cheaper than getting one on a booking website.

Completely agree, the best is to book hotel for few days only and go around the city and take apartment with cash for a better price🥰

You look like a movie star (this is a serious compliment), have you ever tried Hollywood? Nha Trang or Da Nang are great coastal cities for living long term. The only drawback at the moment is you have to do visa run as Vietnam does not have a long term visa for digital nomad or expats yet. Hope you enjoy your long stay in Vietnam.

⁠@@RebelDiaries101yeah that was a decision for me too. I very nearly chose Nha Trang for that very reason but decided on Da Nang for 8 months and Phu Quoc for the rainy season. Phu Quoc seems quite a lot cheaper for condo rents but a little more expensive for day to day expenses so works out about the same. Enjoy the surf!

Which country are you from ? Ukraine , Russia or Belarus ? Nha Trang is actually full of tourists from those three countries but not too many Western Europeans , North Americans and Australians .

To be honest I think it’s gonna change in 1-2 years and Da Nang and Nha Trang are gonna be more or less like Indonesia or Thailand when it comes to tourism/digital nomads. It looks to be good investment now into property, business etc.
