Pro tip the more south you go the more tropical it is. So in Hanoi when it’s winter it gets chilly cause it’s near the mountains and next to China. Down south the temperatures usually stay the same. Usually hot and humid.

We didnt know that vietnam has winter. either. It turns quite cold on December Ist on the day that we were going home. My husband and daughter loved the cold. According to the hotel receptionist ,if we make trips outside in winter there might be rains and strong winds.

18;56, The Hanoi sky lotte observation deck view of the city is similar to Pertonas twin tower in Kuala Lumpur (my home), Landmark 81, the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Taipei 101, Lotte tower in Seoul and Tokyo skytree and CN tower in Toronto, wow. If you visit Ho Chi Minh, Taipei and Toronto soon to go to the tall building observation deck, the view is similar, just a slight difference, good luck.

Yes Thailand & Vietnam are close to each other but North Vietnam where Hanoi is sits way above Thailand’s northernmost tip even way up north than Hong Kong so it does get really cold than the former. They occasionally even gets snow on their mountains.

0:33, What, your in Hanoi? No way wow. Never been to Hanoi, but I only visit Ho Chi Minh for the 1st and 2nd time in July of 2019 and June of 2023, it's good, okay and awesome, but be careful of pickpocket, cross the road carefully and hassle in nightlife, just say no thanks, ignore and walk away. I would like to visit Hanoi for the 1st time 1 day in May or June. Also, you should visit Ho Chi Minh after Hanoi.
