First Week Living on my Own! DITL / VLOG / 28 Jan - 4 Feb 2024

My first week living in Canberra and living on my own was a bit up and down but overall it went well! I run some errands to get settled into my new home and go to an exhibit at the National Museum of Australia.

Hi! I'm Christy, a 22-year-old autistic person living in ACT with various physical and mental disabilities. I'm following in my mum's footsteps by continuing to vlog now that I'm on my own. I enjoy reading and writing fanfiction, playing video games, and sharing my special interests and hyperfixations!

I live in my pjs during the day. They are more comfortable. The birds were so cute. You are doing so well Christy. You should be so proud of yourself.

Christy so glad you are vlogging. Came over from your mom's channel. Moving in and getting everything settled is harder then it looks...we've just moved from NY to Florida, and still don't have the place how I want it, but fun looking back through my vlogs to see how far we've come. Hey Christy, I have Autism too and I can relate to the "chocolate for dinner" because my first dinner in my own place was a bag of chips. I like the cheese rolls too and I often have one of them for dinner when I don't feel like making anything.

Afternoon Christy, I had to smile at all your chocolate meals just an FYI you need to buy yourself some microwavable ready meals for when you don't have a support worker. Sadly as much as us girls all love chocolate it only gives an instant energy hit, then your energy levels plummet and that's why you have been soo tired. Also as for the job hunting I was thinking about this the other day and realise you need some experience, so I think with your degree you should look into some volunteer work, then you get that on your CV and instantly look better to an employee. OK my Mum lecture over now, have a good week :-))

Thank you for the advice! Microwave meals are something I thought about but I'm pretty picky when it comes to foods so I decided not to (I'm still undecided whether that was a mistake). Also, I was eating more chocolate before moving so I think a lot of the tiredness is coming from how much I'm doing most days but I'm sure the chocolate isn't helping. Thank you for the advice on doing volunteer work; my psychologist actually suggested the same thing in my appointment today! Hope you have a lovely weekend too! Thank you for watching and commenting

I think if you haven't already heard of this KZbinr Karen puzzles you would really like her she does extremely hard massive puzzles & puzzle challenges, completes in puzzle competitions like the world jigsaw championship

I tink you would like the youtuber karen puzzles she dose massive extremely hard ones & challenges also completes in puzzle competitions like world jigsaw champion also tiredness could be from being low in iron & b12 which i am & being vegetarian i might need to always get every 3 months b12 shots which you can get from diary & eggs
