I had a similar experience. Not with toxic mold but moving. We had a psycho neighbor that was violent and were blessed to find the perfect spot that allowed our dog and the neighbors are quiet and nice. It’s like there is no way it’s a coincidence when it comes to timing. It’s all glory to God. Appreciating Gods blessings is not self centered.

Katie, you are such an Inspiration. I'm 72 and I'm a subscriber to your channel. You're so Organized. I Love how you Love your doggies so much. Talking about someone (Me and my Husband) who love their dog. We have Luke a Border Collie, Golden Retriever mix who is 11 yrs old. We bought a brand new LG stove in March, when the oven would get up to temperature, it would make this jingly melody, that scared Luke. He would shake, pant and drool, we were afraid he was going to have a heart attack or a Grand Mall Seizure. We tried everything. We even put him in the car in the garage, and he still heard the melody. So we bought a new stove on Friday, and Unfortunately it makes a sound when the oven gets up to temperature, but it's not quite as bad as the other one, but the sound still affects him, somewhat, but not quite as bad as the LG stove. So Luke as much as we Love him, he's just going to have to deal with it!!! We can't get another stove. LOL

Are your dogs fixed? Did you see any changes in their behavior? Im getting mine fixed soon so just curious

Yep they were both fixed as puppies. No changes in behavior that I noticed because they were so young when they got fixed so I don’t know them any different, but for females it’s sooo important to get them fixed early because if you don’t it puts them at risk for a lot of health issues.

@@KatieMusser yess I heard that and unfortunately my childhood dog had to be put down last year for this exact reason. We never knew about these issues and had her for 16 years before she got sick. I have a 6 month old puppy now so his appointment is this weekend.

Why didn’t you use a realtor? When it comes to helping you find a rental, whether it’s single-family or an apartment it’s free to you they get paid by either the apartment complex, or the landlord of the place you end up choosing

Haha it definitely depends where you live! I live in the Midwest so small here is very different than small in NYC or LA. I just meant 1,000 sq ft apartment would be much smaller than the 2,000 sq ft house we were in.

I respect your faith very much. But it comes off a bit self-centered to say things like ‘God was working behind the scenes’ to get you your dream home rental when over 10,000 children died today from starvation. Why do you think this is how he’s choosing to spend his time?

I don’t mean it to come off self-centered at all, that is so far from my intention. We’re having to leave our home because we were being exposed to toxic mold that has left us with major chronic health issues for over a year, there were no other rentals available at the moment that would fit our needs (allowed dogs + without breed restrictions) and I was continuing to get sicker, my dog has grown 3 lumps that he will be needing surgery for to see if they are cancerous, my other dog got bronchitis from being exposed, etc. When I say God was working behind the scenes, I mean he was working behind the scenes to help us be able to leave a home that was making us all ill, whether that would’ve been a smaller home or my dream rental. I believe He helped us find a safe place to move to so we didn’t have to continue to be exposed. Sometimes prayers are answered in a way that opens doors and sometimes prayers are answered by a door closing or by making us wait to learn and grow and sometimes that can include suffering in the waiting. I choose to believe Romans 8:28, “God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him”. I believe all good things come from God, and I believe this new home is a blessing so I’m going to give the credit to God for blessing me with it. I don’t know why God chooses some to live one life and another a different life, but I do believe he listens to prayers and opens doors for everyone, regardless of what life they live. It also doesn’t mean than if he answers one prayer in someone’s life that they are immune to suffering. I feel like your question kind of boils down to “why is a good thing happening to you when there are other people who need it more?” and the answer is truly I don’t know! I absolutely do not deserve it more than anyone else, but regardless I’m thankful. This is such a bigger conversation than just my reply, but I hope that gives you a bit of a better idea of where that was coming from 🫶🏼

I get it very much, and thank you for taking the time to respond. On the one hand, I totally get that it’s a very normal thing to say (that God is involved in all the tiny moments of life). On the other hand, it can feel a bit absurd, because it’s so subjective. It’s a bit like your reaction might be if Kim K was like, ‘God was working behind the scenes to get our new 35 million dollar waterfront home, because our other home was making me feel very anxious and depressed’. You know? It just feels a bit icky, out of touch and not really what Christianity should be about. Like, I’m not sure if that was God haha. Anyways, thanks again for your response!

@@frankiebabieee Christianity isn't about suffering or strife though. God can 100% work at getting a person the home they prayed for whether it cost 3M or 30M....he's the same god that will give a homeless person the warm meal they've been praying for. (A big part of our faith is not being judgemental of people and how they choose to live their lives. Nobody is above and nobody is beneath anyone else)
