I just picked up my baby girl, Chloe, one month ago. The video and pictures they sent me made me think she was bigger, then I saw her and she was so tiny. I was afraid to take her away from her mother. They are so much smaller than they look in photos or videos. So precious. Omgoodness. I love my baby girl so much. She looks exactly like your baby Archie.

Lost my baby 8 months ago. She was so cute, and she learned when she started barking for the first time, not to bark at all. She really was my angel for 8 years. She got an aggressive brain tumor. In a week, she was deaf and then blind. I had to do what was best for her. I still cry sometimes when I am alone. It was 8 happy years.

OMG. So sorry to hear that. Well, at least you had her for this time to enjoy. And you may consider to adopt another puppy, you have so much love to give ❤️❤️❤️

We got our little girl 25 years ago. She slept in her crate for the first few nights, he had an adult rottie who slept on the foot of the bed. After a few nights she crept on the bed to join us, I woke in the morning with her sleep on my throat, legs dandling on either side. She slept there every night for about a month until she was too big for it to be comfortable then it was my chest.

OMG, this is so familiar, our boy still sleeps on my head! Any attempt to remove him just useless, we have gotten used to it. I have to make a video about that 😂😂 but honestly, this is such a Maltese thing, sleeping all over you as if you’re his bed 🛏️

@@archilandmaltese1796 I had a Maltese when I was 6 as well, she slept on the bed, I didn't find out until I was older that it was only until I was a sleep then she went to hang out with my parents, she would lay on me, next to me, lay between my legs head on my bum etc. I found out when I stayed up reading in bed when I was older that she wanted to go be with my parents who were actually doing stuff, so I would pretend to go to sleep and this happened every time. Move to the end of the bed, check if I woke up, jump to the floor, then get on her hind legs to check if that woke me up, sneak to the door, one final check I was a sleep then sneak down stairs. She would come back when my parents went to bed.

@@archilandmaltese1796 we got the last Maltese at 6 weeks she was the runt of the. Litter she would watch TV with me at first she would, run up my left arm, across my shoulders, waiting for me to hold out my right hand so she could lay on it like the sphinx, she was so tiny she fit just. Then when she was too big for my hand it was my shoulder like she was a parrot, the my leg then I was a pillow when she was full grown.

So much love and affection from those toy-like creatures. We’ve gotten another old Maltese girl from a shelter some months ago and the difference is huge. She spent all her life in a cage in a basement making babies for sale. Zero interaction with us, also after 4 months, only when it involves food. Ar some point we thought she accepted us but then realised she just mirrored our dog Archie. And as we know how Maltese are, so loving, attached to their owners - it breaks our hearts to see how she is. But we will keep trying. ❤️❤️

@@archilandmaltese1796 that's truly sad, have you tried encouraging her to bite you and chase you, if she feels more confident that humans (who never did help her in her previous life) are not all poweful she might feel more confident, just don't over play the mock pain. My 2nd Maltese had a vicious streak she. Loved killing lizards her brother the rottie chased them but never once tried to bite them, she would see him chasing lizards, run past him, grab the lizard shake to break it's neck, dump the body at his feet and wag her tail before prancing off. He would look at 5h3 dead lizard, push it with his nose and whimper cause she killed his play mate. The only thing she didn't kill was spiders, she must have been bitten once and knew better, spiders got growled at until I captured them and released them outside, next door of course. She loved chasing kids and biting them on the. Legs, not that she could do any harm but she loved the game and when they squeeled. You could also try a toy animal that she can attack and praise her for attacking.

I've had 5 of them through my lifetime, and I have 2 more now. Each one was and is so precious to me. They're like real live little stuffed animals. They need content attention, and grooming. They're worth the time and effort to keep them healthy and happy. Pure joy ❤
