First week with Stryker Pro Jets www.alaskaadventureboats.com

Have about 8 hours running the Stryker Pro Jet 470 with a Tohatsu 60/40 Jet. So far, I'm loving it. Different than some of the other inflatables I've run in the past, but it seems to be a GOOD different.

cruise up river is about 24ish. flat out on a lake is about 28mph

Thanks! The Stryker is great. Dryer hull design, not as sensitive about weight placement. Less slide through corners, more point and shoot. Overall very much liking them so far!

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been hoping for more independent reviews on these boats and you delivered. All the Stryker corp vids only show open water as far as I’ve seen. My home river is riddled with rocks (Susquehanna) and love seeing the footage in rapids, etc. Have you tried rowing the boat with the outboard? I’m considering a 470 jet vs Hog Island Skiff, but want to row/drift/fish and want to make sure the Stryker can fit that need (knowing Hog Island rows very well).

Its shit, if you see spraying water in front of boat, you know something is wrong, but buy new chinese boat lol, less sensitive on weight ?, yes for bag of potatoes it is, if you need something for shallows go solar, wait for their caravan version looks like no bulge in front and more tough bottom, and they still making them in russia, china is for export,

These are great little jetboats for sure. However with that being said, inflatables of any kind with ANYTHING less then a 2 stroke 50hp is a a get there slowly and get back slowly boat.However it can be very tricky to find those 2 strokers. Lots of people think because these boats are inflatables there gonna fly, that is anything but the truth. These are meant for hunters or people that just wanna get the job done and get back home. You cannot take one of these out just to jetboat and have fun. They are very slow and handle so so at best. If your someone that sometimes all you wanna do is rip up and down the river this is NOT the boat for you. They are slow, trust meat I have had both the Stryker and Solar. And worst boat i've ever had was traditional non tunnel hull Zodiac. It had console steering, nice seats roll bar. it was evil awful, horrible boat. Heavy as hell, and that poor jet leg lol. Id say the Solar is better in regards to you can just throw your gear in the boat and not have to worry about adjusting weight. Stryker seems stronger underneath. Both ok boats but for me just sadly to slow
