It's okay to admit it and we can all tell that's what you need. Have someone teach you how to slip the clutch and launch you got the shifting down the track perfect you just need that launch. That thing will easy run 10's with a solid launch your 60' was damn near 2.7 and that was the killer of your time and MPH. Practice makes perfect, but if you won't admit you are the problem then you aren't gonna get better.

Gavin you should launch it at like 3200rpm or 3500rpm not 8500 you’re going to spin that way and slip out the clutch when launching not dump it. Keep practicing tho. Practice makes perfect and try it in all types of weather DA as well. So you’ll know what to expect each time. Good luck on getting that pass in.

Hey man just a helpful tip, I’ve obviously never been in your car but when launching slowly let off the handbrake, truthfully dropping the handbrake like you are now doesn’t really do much for you, next time seriously try to slowly release the handbrake just like when you were learning how to drive stick just let it slip until you have traction

I really need to work on it bad. Launching with this twin disk clutch has been my biggest struggle in a long time lol. But hey, I’m not trying to hide that. I’m far from the best driver and still have honestly only been drag racing for a year now. I’m just a person and definitely still doing my best to learn! Hopefully I can go soon and get some real practice in somewhere private and work on launching better.

2500 is way too low for the setup he has, you're just going to replace wheelspin with bogging. With a sticky tire these Coyotes love to launch at or near the limiter.

Bogging at any RPM doesnt equal a bad driver, it's a bad driver issue If you cant learn from it and change the launch. Its physics, even a 1000+whp Coyote isnt making anything in the 1000whp range at 2500 so if you have sticky tires and good track prep it's going go bog launching that low.
