It's always fun racing on a track when the track doesn't want. People racing a large portion of why tracks are dying they don't want to prep. They want you to just go out and run on what they give ya.

This track will be packed for the rest of the season. The promoter of this specific event dropped the ball and didn’t pay for track prep.

I'm not a drag racer, but why does it seem that whenever you guys are on a different drag strip, it always seems like it's a less than ideal prep 90% of the time. Maybe Bradenton is just superior?

Could be. I’m sure cleetus makes sure his home drag strip is prepped properly. It’s not his track but he works closely with those guys. A lot of the times the drag strip managers don’t even care for smaller events.

Bradenton takes great pride in their prep surface. One of the best in the states. This was just embarrassing, for bristol... pathetic prep work. I get that there is back to back events, in separate facilities. Which is taxing to the race tracks staff, but this was just dangerous

Bradenton's prep is very, very good. Super unusual for a track of that size to be prepped that well on a consistent basis. Especially considering that, it's florida, it rains almost every day, and rain ruins prep. Bristol, being an NHRA track, should have good prep. They know how, they just didn't bother for this event, probably trying to save a buck.

I went and you did nothing wrong. Bristol once again fked it, loved watching you all and kev as always and brought my daughter to her first race even though she saw Kev’s ranger and wanted to steal it lol. Through the whole night I saw them put prep ONCE, every single car was blowing the tires at the 60-300 especially in the left lane, after they prepped once, oh then cars went fine. Locals know it and are going to be doing what we can to make it better we’re sick of it too.
