My man!! Congrats bro. I remember that feeling. I have the Sportsman 106, in Photic, with that amazing 45lb thrust trolling motor. Ordered mine in Jan 2021, received her September 2021. So finally off the bank, exploring lakes and resevoirs I couldn't get out too. That fleet is built solid. I see No need for me to ever upgrade. Still adding accessories, making her my own. I just got my the other day I setting it up the way I want it I hope.I was very lucky to find one in my town they had it and I got it so happy to get one at last.Mine is the green one.But they are a little heavy but I could care less once in the water I know I'll have fun fishing with my Kayak 106 PDL

Looking at getting one of these ...just haven't decided yet between the 106 n 120. After watching this video I'm leaning toward the 106 ....120 may be more than what I'll need and use it for. Great video...liked the inaugural yak-bass kiss. Keep the videos coming

I say go for it! The 106 is more than enough for me. Easy to load and unload, plenty of room and very stable. Posting a video later today that shows more of me standing and maneuvering while landing fish in the 106. I hope this will help solidify your decision on which kayak you want to get. Only have a small suv and 2 cars so ended up getting a Malone microsport trailer to haul em both. Thanks! You won't be disappointed if you purchase one. I bought a scupper transducer mounting bracket from Navarre Kayak and mounted the transducer in the scupper hole located in front of where you mount the PDL drive. It's the perfect set up for me.

Iam thinking of a 106. Iam 6’ 210 lbs. iam worried it might set to low in the water. But I don’t want the 120. Due to the length. But I really don’t want a wet cockpit. Thanks

Hello Sir! There are folks your height and much heavier who have had no issues with the 106 and how it sits in the water. I am 5'8, 180lbs and have no issues with stability or excessive water entering the cockpit. In my opinion, the 106 is a solid choice and works for me and would be a great choice for you. If you are able to test one out on the water before making a purchase , then go that route. Let me know how things work out!

I know the anxiety you are going through waiting to get your kayak. I ordered mine back in Feb and received it in Aug. I liked everything about the 106 PDL at first but after adding the modifications I talked about in the video, I now love my 106. I'm sure you will too. While waiting for my Yak to arrive, I ordered everything I was going put on it beforehand.

My first time out in the kayak, I had already installed the seat risers . 2 inches in the rear and 1 inch in the front raises and levels the seat out. It makes pedaling effortless and standing a breeze. Git er done! 👍🏾

What's up Adobo Chicken! I had no issues withe the delivery of my kayak from Echo Fishing. Fragile Pak contacted me prior to delivery and on the day of delivery. They off loaded it from the truck and placed it in the garage. There was no damage or issues after I unpacked it. It took Eco Fishing 6 months to get it delivered but they were upfront about the time it would take for me to get it. Well worth the wait.

What's up! Bro I'm 5,8" and the 106 provides more than enough room for me. I stand and fish the majority of the time and the space that's available between the seat and pedal drive is perfect for me to maneuver in. I have no regrets.. Some folks may suggest you go with a 120 because of your taller frame though. I hope this helps!

I have the wilderness cart and it breaks down fairly easy. 95 percent of the time though, If I have to use the cart to get to a spot to fish usually keep the cart intact and take it back to my vehicle rather than storing it on the kayak. I don't like the cart taking up any additional space on my kayak. You are definitely going to enjoy the 106PDL. I have no regrets!

For your weight and height, the 106 will more than meet your needs although others may suggest purchasing the 120. I am attaching a video that Fishin with Gramps made. What’s the shallowest that you can run the pedal drive?

In about a foot of water is the shallowest I'll risk before pulling the pedal drive up. I have been in shallow water about 6 inches and the pedal drive would still rotate but I was kicking up muck and sand.
