Lookong forward to seeing u hit the track. New sub 💪🏼 the 500 has always been my dream "first bike" The first time I rode, it was a Ninja 500 (they dont even make them anymore) But it made me fall in love with riding. After research i feel in love with the looks of the CBR500. Humbly, I would be happy to own one despite the critics.

Thanks for the kind word! I’m incredibly happy with the bike and what it has to offer. Counting the days till next riding season 😈

I can't wait for the snow to pass where I live. I haven't made a video in months. Interesting to see your thoughts on the bike!

TommyGun sir, any thoughts about getting frame sliders to give you peace of mind on track days? PS would love to see a 500r on the track!
@zroxio99664 жыл бұрын
I recommend the frame sliders from Puig.
@TheTommyGun4 жыл бұрын
Definetly would look into getting frame sliders. Frame sliders were going to be one of the first mods I did to the bike however when I purchased the 2019 back in February, nobody made them for the 2019 yet..

Nice to see you back man, good video. I like the idea of videos on how to change the clutch n brake levers. I was wondering how many miles do you think you can get out of tank with everyday riding?
@TheTommyGun4 жыл бұрын
With a full tank I estimate I get about 200 miles or so. I usually fill up far before then, but that's my best guess!

@@TheTommyGun that’s awesome thank you for replying. I might have to get one for my first bike. Just enough power to have fun and overtake cars on the highway etc. Plus it’s light enough to chick into corners 🙂👍🏻

You’re spot on! Couldn’t recommend it enough :)

@@TheTommyGun hmm might have to see how much I can get one for ha ha. Thanks man. Stay safe and I hope the election goes the way you want it to. Iam from the UK so I am trying to keep an eye on it 😂

What are your thoughts on Yammie Noob calling our bike "boring" and "has no character"
@danhouseart3 жыл бұрын
Maybe he judges character by how many times he's fallen off a bike 😂 that dude is all fart and no poo

can you do a comparison video on the cbr500 vs the ninja 400, is the cbr really worth the 2K over the ninja, because i LOVE the looks of the cbr500(more than any other bike, even the bigger cbr's) , but if i coud save 2K on a ninja and get a 90% similar bike i would go for the not so sexy ninja
@RevBomb6003 жыл бұрын
Ive had the 500 for almost 2 years now and i absolutely love it, but $6500 brand new is pretty high. If you can find one used for a good price, go for it. I paid $4500 for my 2017 model from a dealership
@TheMetoG3 жыл бұрын
@@RevBomb600 too bad in my country basically the only options for used are 50cc scuters and 600/1000 super sports
@tonykartracer80323 жыл бұрын
I would rather get the Yamaha R3 over the Ninja... not sure how much price difference between the 2 though.
@RevBomb6003 жыл бұрын
@@tonykartracer8032 i know the R3 is about $5300, which is really high for a 300? Especially when you can spend $1000 more and get the CBR500R or even get the Ninja 400 for the exact same price
@TheMetoG3 жыл бұрын
@@tonykartracer8032 i like the looks of the r3, but i like the midrange power of the ninja more, i've never ridden an r3 but i heard they are more high reving and i just don't have the roads to need a bike with the power in the high revs

how many sec will it take to get 100kph? thanks
@TecMike114 жыл бұрын
Can you go 80mph on the highway easily? I’ll be using it on the highway for about 40 minutes on an average of 70 to 80 mph, mostly 80.
@TheTommyGun4 жыл бұрын
Easily! The bike sits around 6k rpms in 6th gear going 70-80.

I do not consider a 500 as beginner bike. Yes it can be a 1st bike. But beginner bike implies a bike you learn how to ride on and move on. A 500 can be a "permanent" bike. It will take you 500 miles or cross country.
