I make check lists and schedule for my para. I also have my paras take data. I know their some awesome para training manuals through the Autism Helper on TPT, but I've never needed that. I've been blessed with experienced paras. You have some awesome tips! Great video as always!

I will be getting into SPED Teaching honestly I think it is best, I have been in SPED classes for many years. I think it’ll be more personal because kids will be able to relate to me, Also since I am going to college and taking those classes that are specific to SPED. I know I would need a certification hopefully I can get the certification I need in Texas so I’ll be able to start in a couple years.

Can you make a video about how you planned online instruction starting a new classroom when the pandemic started? How did you get to know your paras and work with them online?

@@thatspecialeducator1061 thank you. I just accepted a new job teaching self contained high school SPED and need help navigating how to plan for a self contained classroom again, especially online. Previously, I was working as an inclusion teacher for middle and high school students. I've worked as a life skills teacher for upper elementary before but it's been a couple years since I've been in that type of setting.
