Keep that fire burning. The world NEEDS you, and others like you to help us learn about and enjoy the great mysteries of the cosmos!!! 🙂

The only science-communicator I truly have respect for is Carl Sagan. By projecting his enthusiasm, with all his knowledge as a scientist, to any fellow being willing to pay attention, he achieved his goal. This is the model to follow.

Same. I've always been a little obsessed by Jupiter too. Earth's bulletproof vest. There was a show I loved on Channel 4 (couldn't get into BBC's The Sky At Night) when I was kid called "The Planets" presented by Heather Couper and when they released the companion book they used an image of Jupiter for the dust cover. Before my RAF dreams fell apart, I always swore Jupiter would be the first planet I'd "fly" to given the opportunity. 😅

It took me a while to figure out why you seemed to familiar and comfortable to listen to, and I just realized you have some mannerisms very closely to Laina "The Overly Attached Girlfriend". You also look very close to her, I'd believe it if you said she was your sister. I'm sure I'm not the first to make this connection. You do an amazing job and I love how you explain things, thank you for existing.

You seem really cool. I found your short videos while scrolling though Utube. I loved space and have been into it since I was a child. I get really excited when Spacex has a mission because they have the best path forward that I have ever seen. I really want to go to space myself. The first thing I look for in space is the big dipper. It is easy to spot and I was even able to do it while flying overseas at night. I am always looking for more information about space and I am constantly trying to think of ways to improve technology that they have so far. I had come up with a way to repel dust on solar panels on places like the moon and Mars among other things. I also have seen Spacex fly over the airport in Richmond and have some really good shots and video of there flights! it was amazing to see.

I lived close enough to Langley AFB that I could hear the wind tunnel spool up over by the Langley Speedway, a pre-NASCAR dirt track I would crab underneath the Gus Grissom Bridge on Mercury Blvd I watched Apollo 22 touchdown while cleaning an M-14 in a Ft Benning BOQ. and was shopping for music when the Challenger blew up. Just had a thought and wanted to write it down somewhere. If you travel through space to a planet that exploded billions of years ago. If you get to the point where it exploded. If you reverse travel at a speed faster than the speed you were traveling towards it. Can you see it reverse explode? Kinda like hitting rewind on a movie

I also have a huge love and respect for Astronomy and space as well as Science itself. It's rewarding to teach others about it. My question for you is a simple one. How do you handle all the disbelievers and doubters out there that refuse to learn anything you try to teach them. It really annoys me. There is still a massive amount of people that think the Apollo missions were fake. There is tons of data and information (Not to mention the left over Moon rocks) which proves it was all true. What can you do when people are in denial about it or have there minds locked up. They actually think their opinions have value. It is Science itself that is extremely valuable, as well as the chance to keep learning more and more each day. I am like you in many ways. What can you tell me to help me tolerate these closed minded people?

Happy to follow you here. I’ve been following you on Tiktok from early on and I find myself coming up with questions I want to ask you as I go about my days. You’ve answered some, and I’m really appreciative. Here’s a thought. Since we know our TV and radio broadcasts are making their way out there to be detected by whoever, wouldn’t our first messages from space be an alien version of I Love Lucy?
